Our experience was anything but A+. Our gas cooktop would only light manually, We had diagnosed the problem and Mr. Young ordered the parts and was supposed to install them. When he arrived he claimed he was not aware that it was a cooktop and not a range (he had been told). He said he would need an assistant to remove the unattached oven to replace the part. It is a vacation home and we were unavailable for him to return on another day. We had him leave the parts and paid him for the parts and service call. My husband replaced the parts by removing the cooktop pan, which weighed about 1 lb., a one person operation. We effectively paid a $95 delivery fee for the parts.

I had a horrible experience with Lewis Young from A Plus Appliance Service!He came to look at our freezer,which needed a new ice maker(We already knew that)we just wanted to make sure the rest of the freezer was working properly.He didn't even answer that at all,after showing him my ticket from my beloved retired appliance man,he informed me the price had gone up almost double in 2 years and I said I'd rather replace the whole unit and thanked him and he said he turned the ice maker off so we didnt have a flood,but I knew my husband had already turned it off!He said that is 85 bucks!I thought for what?!?!?!?!I could see 25-50..but 85?!??!?!?!?NO!!!I will NEVER call him again and I will tell all my friends and clients my story to so they dont get ripped off!!BEWARE!!
