Terrible experience. Both the doctors office next door and the Visionworks facility itself. Poor service, poor follow through. The receptionist at the doctors office is totally incompetent. I asked if I could come by to pick up my prescription, she said that they closed at 4:30, but she would leave my prescription with Visionworks side for me, I drove all the way there only to find that she hadn't done it, and the staff at Visionworks seemed disinterested in helping me. I had to come back the following day only to find that my insurance didn't work there, this is after I was told that it did and they wouldn't give my prescription until I paid the full amount for an exam. I would have never gotten the exam there if I hadn't been told by receptionist that my insurance was good there.
The Visionworks side did the same thing, told me my insurance was good there, it's the reason I came there, only to be later told that no, my insurance wouldn't work there.
I won't recommend either of them to anyone, and won't do any business with them ever again. I would give them 0 stars if I could, Go somewhere else to get your glasses/contacts.
Beware of this companies deceptive sale promotions. Decided to go there for their buy one get one free. It has been five months and I still haven't received me second pair. They say that they should be in any day. Yea right. There are plenty of places to buy glasses, I would choose another.
Beware of this companies deceptive sale offers. Decided to go there for their buy one get one free offer. After five months I have still not received my second pair. They continue to tell me they will be here soon. Are you kidding me. There are plenty of places to buy glasses, I would try somewhere else.
walked in with lens rx in one hand and credit card in the other, explaining i had just lost 3 pr of glasses in a river accident and needed help desrerately.
the gentleman/clerk asked me repeatedly WHERE in the river i lost them(?), then told me to look around (i couldn't SEE!) while he left to smoke a cigarette.
The optician never even said hi, and i was alone in the store.
