I ordered flowers from the website for a funeral. The picture shown on the website had 10-12 large flowers, which should have been a good sized arrangement on a table. When the flowers were sent it looked more like a tea cup of flowers - only 3 roses, two daisies and some greenery - that is not $100 worth of flowers. I understand the same exact flowers are not guaranteed, but I do expect the same quantity and quality I paid for. So disappointing - I will never use this flower shop again - and no one else should either.
ordered flowers via website that were not delivered and when I inquired about it I was berated, cussed, threatened and bullied. I will follow up with the hospital and see where ur vase of yellow daisies went and be in touch and for future reference, u should not send flowers to a patient having heart surgery til u are sure everything works out, sometimes they are there for days in ICU. Terrible service. Sister-in-law, from another state, ordered a Christmas cactus as a gift, which was due to arrive before Christmas. Instead, we received a mixed bouquet, which did not begin to have a holiday theme, delivered Dec. 27th. Would not recommend this florist to anyone. The bouquet appeared to be left over flowers of various colors. Not at all attractive.
This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a business. I ordered flowers from a third party website, and they chose Gudger's to fill my order. They were to be delivered before noon, and to a business location. At 5:00 Gudger's calls me and says they are in traffic, looking for my mom, who I was sending the flowers to. Of course, the flowers were a surprise, so it would've been absurd to call her to say they were late. They arrived at the business at 5:30 (30 minutes after the office had closed) and I had to tell my mom to go back to work to pick up the flowers. The two staff members who I talked to on the phone were EXTREMELY rude, and placed the blame on me for using a third party website that was just trying to scam me out of my money. I would not recommend them to anyone, and if I could give them less than one star I would.
Received flowers 2/24/16. Watered daily. By 2/27/16 they were beginning to die.. I received 4 gifts of flowers that week ( birthday and illness) as of 3/1/16 they are all alive and well EXCEPT the ones from Gudgers! The owner would not even return my call. They have a 24 hor Oonly guarantee. Wonder why? , they are a BAD company to do business with! Vickie White
Worst florist ever. Ordered online and got nothing like what I ordered. I wanted violets in a nice basket with ribbon and butterflies for my mother. The gave me some other plant and zebra colored ribbon. If would have at least tried to match the colors of hat I ordered maybe I wouldn't be so irate. They didn't even try. They just through a bunch of stuff in a basket and make me pay 50 bucks for some thing I could have made myself for less than half that. Rip off!

Gudgers called the next day at 4pm and said they could not deliver on time, they would "try" again the following day. I hesitantly said that would be fine even though the birthday had been missed. The next day the flowers did not show up either, nor did anyone call me. I left a message at their shop that evening and told them to make sure they canceled the order, three days was too late. I also emailed them to make sure they canceled. I got a rude email reply with no name, I am assuming the owner: "maybe next time, with it being mothers day week, u should try for an earlier start if its something u think the florist may just not have around. most of those internet orders cause nothing but mass confusion, not talking directly to a local florist and scoping the situation out first. and usually, we are given a first and second choice". Well, I was never offered a second choice. They charged me anyway and delivered the flowers three days late. The email I received back from them arrived BEFORE the flowers were delivered so I know they read my cancellation. Yet they charged me and delivered them! I replied with another email and asked again for my money to be refunded and he replied back with: "ur pathetic. get a life." I will never recommend Gudger's or use them again. Terrible customer service!!! I am more upset about how I was treated then the fact the flowers were late. They claim to be the best in Asheville but read their Better Business Bureau complaints if you don't believe me......their score on BBB is a "D".
