Because of past problems with a clinic in Hickory NC and their lack of communication, mistakes, sudden appointment cancellations, failure to call patient with results, etc.... For some 12 years I have had problems on each visit and that once resulted in my losing my temper at the receptionist who made a mistake with my appointment and then smarted off to me about it.

I sought a new clinic in hopes of getting truly personal service with great communications among nurses, doctors, staff and patient. I asked my internist to refer me to Asheville Gastro. A representative called me and left a message. I called back (3 times in 3 days) with long wait times on the phone ("Your are caller number 4, etc.") After waiting, I get a nurse's RECORDING!!!. I leave messages on each attempt. The recording says: "We will call you back within 24 to 36 hours."). IT has now been 10 days since my first return call and have heard Nothing!! Here is another example of a clinic that has no communication and obviously does not care about their patients. It is all about how many they can herd through the clinic and all about money. So................ I am now looking for a small clinic (again) with real personal service and real communication, not recordings with empty promises.

nice job

This is a great personal injury law firm that knows how to get results. Brian Davis was very compassionate about what I had been through with my injuries, but he was tough and aggressive when it came to dealing with the insurance company. He was also easy to talk to and down to earth. His paralegal staff is great to work with and very helpful. While I know they probably have lots of other clients, they made me feel special and always took time to talk with me. I definitely made the right choice in hiring DLG to handle my injury case.

Doctors Only Care About Money

This is the worst medical office in the city of Asheville. They do not care about their patients whatsoever. These are the most greedy doctor's in the Asheville area. They simply do not care about their patients and are only concerned with billing you. God forbid you ever have any outstanding balance with them, they will sue you faster than you can blink your eye. They never figured out what was wrong with my stomach after a ton of tests. Disabled or on medicaid? they will treat you like a second class citizen. All this office cares about is billing your insurance. Run from these guys like the plague!!!!

horrible medical practice

My internist unfortunately scheduled an appointment for me at asheville gastroenterology and the experience was an unpleasant eye-opener. The young woman enterologist never looked me in the eye and just sat with her profile to me, checking off info on a sheet of paper and scheduling a barrage of UNNECESSARY tests. She reminded me of an order taker at a fast food restaurant like McDonald's. It was apparent she didn't care about me or my medical issues, but simply regarded me as ""income source""--since I'm well insured. After about twenty minutes of non eye contact, and no wish to hear anything from me...---but eager to run up a big tab---I got up and said, thanks, I don't need your help. They have scores of young women hanging around ready to schedule ""expensive"" tests at a nearby radiology center. I've been feeling wonderful ever since. Avoid this group like the plague. Read a little Robin Cook; you'll see what I mean.

One Bad Doctor

I went to this group of specialist with high expectations. The front desk people were amazing so nice, the medical assistant the best ever. But then I was seen by Dr. Bond he was the most pathetic sorry excuse for a Dr. I have ever seen. He treated me like a piece of trash, I was treated so bad that I went to the NC medical board. Maybe the other Doctors are better but please save yourself the pain and never see Dr. Bond.
