It disappoints me to have to write such a review, but others deserve to learn from my experience with Heath Parker and Appalachian Trucking & Grading.I can not recommend Heath. in fact, I recommend you avoid him and his company. I hired him to do some work at my property. We agreed on a price, and I provided an initial deposit. Once the work was done, he informed me what the cost was and promised to provide an invoice. It was a day after paying him (my mistake, because I trusted him and his figures, and left a check for him without seeing the final invoice) that I noticed he had not taken into account the deposit for the work.I contacted Heath immediately, and he acknowledged that he had 1) forgotten to provide an invoice and 2) that I had been overcharged. Thus began a saga that has lasted the last 6 months. During that time, Heath has not accepted my phone calls (even when he has texted me seconds before, and clearly has the phone in his hand), he has refused to see me, he refuses to provide an invoice, he claims to have been traveling without his mobile phone, he claims his secretary is looking into the matter. At the same time, via text message, he continues to acknowledge he owes me money. But, he refuses to pay it.Please avoid this company and this individual. He seemed like an honest man when I met him, and when he provided me a quote for the work. I was wrong: he is neither honest nor honorable.
