Best pharmacy in Asheville, NC. Courteous staff, always get the prescription filled quick, answers questions promptly, and they have so many medical supplies at a reasonable price. Never had an error with my prescriptions and I can't say that for the larger pharmacies. Thank you B&B Pharmacy for serving our many needs.
Plan to spend more time than necessary when using the Pharmacy. The rest of the Store is very welcoming but the pharmacy staff has a rule that puts customers though two twenty minute waits in line. If they set up more efficiently, the second wait should only take two minutes. Then they are rude to customers who try to point this out. I have switched pharmacies after 7 1/2 years with them.
B&B reminds me of the pharmacy we had as a child, in my small town. The level of service I always receive with B & B just doesn't exist in a large, chain pharmacy. 5 stars all the way!!!!
They told me they accept Cigna Rx insurance (and Cigna confirmed this), but in fact they do not. I would never recommend them to anyone.
Absolutely horrible pharmacy. The store portion has been good but the pharmacy staff is terrible. This time had the same prescription faxxed in from the Dr. three times. Went to pick it up after recieving text, they say no script recieved. Techs wander around like on ether. Last week, dropped off script. ether brained tech said will be ready 10AM tomorrow. OK. Came in at 4pm. Script not filled but they will fill while I wait. give them 30 mins. waited hour by the BP machine. Approached by wandering tech and told they will have to order script. huh? Next time, just watch a tech retrieve a prescription. Its like a freaking Easter egg hunt.
If you have a prescription that needs filled might I suggest a different pharmacy? They are rude and extremely slow! They never automatic refill any script. Some Rx prices are higher than most places. Night shift guy is especially rude! Going to try Rite Aide in the Food Lion plaza. Good Luck!
The prescription line, whether the drive thru or inside, is unbelievably, laughably slow. They don't pay much attention to prescriptions that are refilled through the website or their phoneline, even if you do it days ahead of time. So then you'll show up, wait in one of the long lines, then you'll find out they never filled your prescription but you're already late to get back to work and can't wait for them to do it now. That was my experience today and I don't know when I can return for my prescription. It's so frustrating. I'm migrating my prescriptions over to Rite Aid down the road. Sorry CVS, but I don't have time for your inefficiencies.
This place rocks. Especially the pharmacy and pharmacists. They are truly a throwback to a bygone era where the neighborhood pharmacist takes care of you as a neighbor. We had a glitch with an outdated insurance card, and because we'd been in recently, or maybe just because, were allowed to receive the medicine for our son and call back with insurance numbers when the new cards arrived. They are always on the lookout for how to make a prescription more suitabl for the patient. For instance, twice and with two different doctors the amount of medicine to the ratio of pills or syrup was unfriendly to kids, and the pharmacist took it upon himself to offer an easier to ingest solution with the same dosage. We are impressed. And it's locally owned!
Avoid this place. There are too many establishments that care about your business to endure the abuse from CVS. I have never encountered the rudeness and attitude that is prevalent here. Also Rx prices are unbelievably higher. They are higher on almost every item. I will never go back and neither will any member of my family.
