As a former employee, the comments below are not surprising. TBS Carolinas are a sneaky bunch. There is tremendous competition in this space and the sales staff don't care how they get the sale. Service and install techs generally have no clue what was promised and therefore copier solutions are sketchy. So, you can discount these comments as trivial or move forward with your next mistake. Business equipment purveyors in the Charlotte area, Warning! Do not ever entertain any sales rep from Toshiba Business Solutions of Carolinas. Turn them back at the door, slam the door in their face, do whatever to avoid talking to them! I let them talk, and I am paying heavily for it. They signed me up for a copier lease with promises that it would cost a certain amount a month; and I have been regularly billed two or three times as much. The amount was supposed to be $214/month, and i got additional overage bills for hundreds of dollars more every month! They said if you are not satisfied with the service "we will remove the machines". I signed a 2 year contract and later found out it is was a 5 year contract! The sales rep had promised to re-neg the contract based on actual usage, which never happened in all the 5 years. The sales rep was never again reachable. I was contacted by a different area manager each year only to get a customer service survey done, bot no response to the original un-kept promise. Write to me directly and I will satisfy you why they are the worst thugs in town.
