Denna's Dress Making & Alterations

Denna is amazing! I can’t explain how amazing my dress was. You honestly couldn’t even tell it was altered. My dress wouldn’t zip by a few inches. (Thanks to my beautiful daughter) Denna ripped the seams and sew it back together. It was AMAZING!!! I can not explain how amazing it truly was.

I will never trust anyone other than Denna to alter a dress for me. She did all of my daughter's as my bridesmaids and my wedding gown. She completely changed mine from a closed neck halter top to a v-neck, cross cross back and took about 2 ft in length off to make it more summery as we had a beautiful backyard wedding. I am more than pleased with her work and my dress turned out to be exactly what I wanted! Even better than I expected. Very affordable. You just can't find a better seamstress! She really knows this business! Don't waste your money going to anyone else. ❤️

I contacted Denna about making two heirloom christening gowns for my daughter and my niece from my grandmother's wedding gown. I was nervous about the outcome, as I knew she had a limited amount of material in which to work (plus the material is rather aged and fragile). I was amazed when I picked up the gowns! It was better than I had ever hoped. The gowns fit perfectly and they were absolutely beautiful. My grandmother was very impressed and absolutely loved the gowns that were made for her great-granddaughters. I received many compliments about my daughter's gown on the day of her baptism. Denna kept me informed throughout the entire process about the progress of the gowns. I was nervous about entrusting my grandmother's wedding gown to just anyone, but Denna eased my anxiety by her confidence. My daughter's baptism was even more special because of the beautiful gown that was created from my grandmother's wedding gown. I would highly recommend Denna for your dress making needs.

First time using Denna's Dress Making and Alterations, was nervous but Denna did an excellent job and quick. Prom was Sat and needed dress hemmed. Dropped it off on Monday and had it back by Tuesday. Denna was great. Would definitely use her again!

I had ordered a dress for my daughters winter formal dance and when we finally received the dress it was too big and WAY too long and with only 2 days left before the dance I was worried she was not going to have a dress to wear for the dance but after speaking with my mother she mentioned I could get it altered which I had never done before so I googled the yp and started making phone calls but unfortunately It was already after 5pm and the first 2 people I spoke with said I would have to bring it in the following day but then I called denna and even though they were closing she said I could go ahead and bring it by then. I was worried that she wasn't going to first get it done in time and secondly not get it done correctly but I was wrong she not only did a GREAT job she got it done quick and it wasn't the easiest dress because it was line in all sequence and the hem was different all the way around because it was a flowie dress w a long train. I would with out a doubt go back to denna and will use her and only her anytime I need any alterations or anything done in the future.

I just have to say Denna is an awesome seamstress plus person in general. She is very understanding and works with you. Ive gone to her a couple times now and she does great!!! She is my life saver! I appreciate her and recommend her 100 percent!

I found Denna online and noticed the nice reviews. I needed a floor length dress cut off for a black tie event and only had 3 days before the event. Denna had it done the next day! She did a great job and I would definitely recommend her to anyone !

After a costume crisis on opening night of a 5-show run (the zipper in my dress broke mid-song!), I had to scramble to find someone to fix it by the next afternoon. I researched alterations shops in the area and found wonderfully positive reviews for Denna. Though she does not prefer high-pressure situations like mine (I don't blame her!), she graciously helped me out by replacing my zipper in only an hour, at a very fair price. I will certainly return to Denna for future (and hopefully less stressful) alterations!

Due to some issues with my daughters bridesmaid dress we needed to reorder the dress and it came in 2 weeks before the wedding. The bridal store was unable to hem the dress. I found Denna's Dress number on YP - and noticed she had 5 stars. Those stars are a true reflection of Denna’s work. Denna is very professional, makes excellent suggestions, and did a FANTASTIC job with my daughter’s dress. I'm very please and would recommend Denna in a heartbeat. Thank You Denna!

Denna is very friendly and very knowledgable. She has always done a fantastic job on tailoring my husband's suits. As well as fixing several formal gowns for me, not just hems but major alterations. She is always timely. I live in FL now, but I still bring things to her when I come in town. I highly recommend Denna!

Denna's alterations is the place to go for all needs for your bridesmaids! One of my bridesmaids is pregnant and needed major work done on her dress. Denna took the zipper out of the back and made it a corset and it fits absolutely perfect. I was so worried, all for nothing. She also did alterations on another one of my bridesmaid dresses and it fits beautifully. We needed the mother of the grooms dress hemmed and she had it finished in 2 days! The speedin which these dresses were complete and attention paid to detail are top notch. Highly recommend her, I know where I will always take anything that I need done to my clothes or formalwear. Really great and such a nice lady!

Denna's Dress Making & Alterations was amazing she did a hem job for me in was relatively cheap she did charge more for the rush job (1 day) and she did it quickly and she is also very nice. I highly recommend this to anyone

Dena, Works miracles! I had my wedding dress made to fit from the internet. When my dress came in it was completely off! I was really depressed and automatically thought I was fat and I had no hope. Ms. Dena was comforting and made me feel comfortable by explaining everything and letting me know I wasn't the only one this happened to. As far as the needle work, awesome! Looks great and feels great. Prices are good value too. Mr.Precious also makes a great greeter and helps calm and make you feel at home! I am searching my closet as we speak for clothes to get fixed so I can go back to visit Dena and Precious. Thank You :)

Denna is great! I've been taking all my clothing that needs alterations to her for years and she is so friendly and always gets the items back to me very quickly! I have never had any issues with her or her work. Great prices too! Typically $7-10 for pants. Don't know about dresses or anything else. But definietly check her out!

Denna's was the best place I've been for alterations, she was so sweet. Got the job done great and in a timely manner.

She is great at what she does, she does it in a timely manner, and is sooo sweet.! I would recommend her to anyone and I've been other places and I will be going back to Denna's over any of the others.

When I received my dress for prom after ordering it online, I found it was a size or two too big. Denna wonderfully altered my dress to fit me with plenty of time to spare before prom this Saturday. :)
