He enjoys the challenge of performing complicated operations and finds great satisfaction in seeing his patients get well. He is a clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at Georgetown University Hospital. In his free time Dr. McConnell enjoys golf and scuba diving and has a black belt in karate.
