I would like to give Fernando Romo a big 'pat on the back'. My neice and I stopped in at Rio Mambos, in Arlington, last December, not knowing what to expect. We were greeted and promptly served by Fernando. In no time at all, he had filled us in on all the interesting facts about the restaurant. Before we left, we felt like we had known him forever, and promised to return later that week and bring some friends. We did exactly that, and have returned at least once a week, every week since then, and brought lots of friends with us. Everyone enjoyed the great service by Fernando! He is so professional and really makes everyone feel so special and at home..Please thank Fernando for all of us who value his professional service and pleasant attitude. I feel you are very fortunate to have such a valued and dedicated employee! Sincerely, Karla Pulliam

I love the Taco Bueno Breakfast because it tastes good, fills me up, and is fast. I've visited two Taco Bueno franchises in Arlington, and both times they haven't been very busy, which prompted me to write this review. Don't ya'll know how good a Bueno Breakfast is? I think that place sho…

I will never return. The taco salad was gross and bitter with wilted lettuce. It was so bad I threw the taco away. I could not believe I was given plastic ware that was loose and not sealed everyone's hands had touched it. No telling where that had been! How nasty!!!

Worst service! I had to wait for my food like 30 minutes and when I went up to the cashier to complain they started preparing it really fast. Very in professional also the restrooms are really dirty with toilet paper all over the floor. Do not reccomend going here.

I have about had my limits with this store. I have complained to the store, but nothing ever changes. This is the only store that is close to my work. The cashier, I think he is a manager, is an Indian-like individual male about 40-50 years old. I do not know his name. He has to be the rudest ca…

I used to visit that "other chain restaurant" but decided to try Freebirds one day while shopping in Arlington Highlands. I'm so glad I did. On my first visit the server asked had I eaten there before. He probably could tell from me extensively looking at the menu. He patiently and happily explained all my options even though there was a small line behind me. When the next server assisted with the fillings she had a great attitude as well as I asked about some of the toppings. Lastly, the cashier asked if I wanted to add some items like drink, dessert and made sure to enroll me into there rewards program. I was impressed by their customer service PLUS the food is GREAT! ANY time I go they all have great personalities and exceptional customer service.
I will agree with the review below that it is VERY VERY festive, they have the WHOLE place covered from top to bottom in christmas and light up decor lights ALL year round, BUT the food there is not all that great, there chips and hot sauce are the best but the food is kind of sloppy and dosnt always have good flavor & its cold alot of the times, it taste like its been sitting under the heat lamp for days...the first 2 or 3 times i went it was pretty good & then after that it was BAD we took some friends there for dinner one night when they were in town and we were embaressed that we suggested that bc it was not good at all and we were all disappointed with our meals. This is a good place to go have drinks and chips and hot sauce thats about it!
OMG!!! IS the first thing i have to say...from the decor down to the servers...everything was GREAT!!! I've had Chipotle and love Chipotle...but unlike Chipotle, Freebird offers different tortilla choices, also have a vary of other condiments (add-ons)...Which was also great..And different sizes of the burrito for all to try...I stuck with the Freebird...but for others that dont eat much you can try the 1/2 bird which is half of the Freebird if you didnt kno...Which none of that Chipotle offers. When i got there the line was to the next restaurant literally, but it was worth the wait. And, once you get inside, the servers are so nice....Would defintely go back again...its kinda like Chipotle Who??
I love Mexican food and have been to a lot of restaurants... but, I have to say that Abuelo's is my absolute favorite. I haven't had anything I don't like on the menu. The first time I went, my kids didn't like what they ordered from the kids menu... but, we ordered them something from the regular menu and they loved it. This is the only Mexican restaurant my kids love to go to now. Their desserts are very tastey too. Oh, and if that wasn't enough, the staff is always great. We eat at Abuelo's about once a month. In five years of eating at Abuelo's, we have never been sick or had bad service or food. When we move to California next summer, we will truly miss this dining experience.
We came to Rio Mambo in south Arlington after a track meet. It was a Friday afternoon, just after 2 o'clock. We have been here before at night, and at that time the service and food were great, even though it was a very crowded establishment. Today, however, it was another story. Even though Rio Mambo was empty, the service was very slow, our server was surly at best and the food was not at the high standard that one would usually associate with Rio Mambo. I would hope that this is a one-time glitch with a coachable moment for the server and staff. However, next time we will take our business to El Arroyo.
This Mexican food restaurant has a large, extensive menu with plenty of options to choose from. They do serve alcohol, so you can enjoy a glass of sangria or a margarita while dining. They have patio seating for those who like to enjoy outdoor dining. This is a family friendly restaurant and the service was great. The one negative is the high noise level inside the restaurant, and it is probably different during slower times. We were there on a busy Friday evening. The food is great and we would definitely recommend this place.
My friends and I tries to go to the panchos here close to six flags but it was closed due to the water not working. That's when we saw there was another across town that was off of Green oaks. This was the best panchos I have ever been to in my 24 years of life. Great service, Great food, clean atmosphere. Even my friend who that was with us that doesn't really like Panchos loved it. I will never go to any other Panchos again in the DFW. This Panchos is my new favorite place to go!!

My first complain is they charge for chips and salsa, food was ok when I asked the server what comes in the plate she didn't have knowledge she was lost and my chips and salsa were out she never asked or came by for refill and the place was empty with three servers and nobody pay attention to refill our drinks! Very bad service but the food wasn't bad at all but not worth the money I paid for too expensive...Los Lupes right across are much better!!!
