South Cooper Animal Hospital - Jan Treybig DVM

my doberman mix ate some fire ant poison. He was unable to walk, would not eat or drink, was dying. Dr. Treybig and her staff worked extremely hard to save his life over a 1 1/2 day period, which they did! I am so grateful to the Lord that my dog lived. And so thankful to Dr. Treybig for spending so many years in getting her excellent education and her many years of experience and dedication to being a Doctor for pets. She is my hero seriously.

I have been taking my cats to Dr Jan Treybig for 21 years. She is not only wonderful with the animals, she is compassionate with the family. I have been through loss of aging pets over these past years and she and her staff have been here for me. SCAH has been recommended to many of my friends over the years because of my confidence in them. I will never go anywhere else.

Dr treybig misdiagnosed my cat then charged me for tested I didn't authorize. Went down the street to Gullys Animal Hospital and saw Dr. Killman, absolutely the best vet ever! Very informative and empathetic. They even worked with me on my bill since I was charged an arm and a leg to get my cat out of S Copper Animal Hospital. Very very disappointed to say the least.

I found these guys to be very conscientious with my costs and they were kind and patient with my dog. Wait time seems average to me and cost is entirely less than most other local vet choices. (working with rescue has afforded me opportunities to find this out first hand)

Excellent Honest Fair Kind. I have been a client for 15 + years and completely satisfied. They save me money where they can and are all about doing their very best for your pet. They have a vast amount of experience and I totally trust their care

I agree with the previous review. The wait time is outrageous and the prices are very steep. I made an appointment to take my Ava in for a teeth cleaning and they were adamant beyond belief that she needed blood work even though she had that done a couple of months ago here. When I asked them to explain why they needed more blood work, they refused to reconsider or even give a decent reason why. They lost a costumer and what's even sadder is they did not seem to care when I told them I was going to take my business somewhere else where I wasn't going to be ripped off. :(

Do NOT go to this hospital. Very expensive to get even minor things like shots and the meds cost three times what you can buy them for in a pet store. More importantly, the vet completely ignored my concerns about my pet drooling uncharacteristically which turned out to be a symptom of a severe dental problem. Plus the hours are terrible. You can't take your pet there on Friday or Saturdays after noon and it's not even open at all on Sundays. Worst animal hospital I know of. Both I-20 and Gully far exceed this place in just about every way possible.

Only vet I have ever been to that didn't rip me off! She is amazing and will never go anywhere else!

Dr. Treybig and her staff mean the world to our family. Our dog has been seeing Dr. Treybig since she was a puppy (she is 15 years old now). That should say it all!!! They have always provided the best care for our dog and treat her as if she were one of their own. Truly the best!
