Whereas every shop in Vancouver receives guidelines form VCH, not all agents at VCH have their ears to the ground with regards to what goes on in the GLOBAL tattooing community as those of us who are actually involved and in contact with the GLOBAL tattoo community, anyhow they and their clientele has been effected by the vaccine roll out. There have been recorded adverse reactions in vaccinated people from receiving a tattoo. Conditions during and after tattooing range from excess swelling to conditions resembling rashes and blisters on and around the tattooed area, Hyves, fevers, chills, nausea, flu like symptoms and respiratory issues; none of which have been seen before by artists/colleagues with decades of tattooing experience. To protect yourself from this, we recommend postponing your tattooing booking(s) for 6-12 months or indefinitely, after you’ve received your final dose in the cycle as your immune system has been compromised and is trying to stabilize itself.

Overall

The BEST decision I made

This turned out to be the best decision I made. Ex-Navy with 4 tattoos, I wanted my next tat to be perfect; I looked at many places before choosing this place. The shop was extremely clean and a very comfortable setting. The price was less than I anticipated; the owner (Woody) did my tat with detail as good as I have EVER seen! He was willing to re-draw as many times as we needed. This guy is a 17 year experienced perfectionist! The pictures on their web-site are from years past; they need to update the website because his recent work is far better. His coloring and shading is simply the best.

If you want sharp detail, amazing artwork or a portrait for your tattoo, this place should be strongly considered.
