Travis & the Vandergriff Acura team were great to work with - I highly recommend using them whether leasing or buying a new car! Travis took care of everything for me by text & had all my documentation ready to go the day I came to the dealership. Easy & painless!!
Sam and Andrey made our visit very relaxed and an easy experience providing a very fair deal on an exceptionally like new condition 2000 Porsche. Drove the car to Mckinney and then to Galveston in poor weather and it was a flawless drive. One of the best used car buys I have made in 60 years of driving. The tags were mailed and received 4 working days after purchase.
Went in to look at a beautiful 2018 silverado LT z71 crew cab. Kim called me said they still had the truck and at the same Internet price witch was 35,730. I got there and handed me over to Luis and went on the test drive. Started doing paper work noticed they jumped the priced up to 39,xxx and some change. I asked why I went up almost 4000 dollars he said the rebates had changed that morning. Which was funny because Kim called me and said it was the same. I wish we could have done business since I loved the truck.
Well it’s all the same story about Vango stay away from these guys. Does anyone have information about Who dey use for gap insurance I am told my vehicle has gap insurance but I can not find the paper work and no one will answer calls.
WARNING!!! Whatever you do do NOT buy a vehicle from this sorry excuse for a dealership. And pre warning for anyone looking at one of the range rovers they have for sale please do NOT buy it as you will soon regret it. I went there to look at a 2004 range rover with good miles (only 65k) When I got there I was given a key and told to drive to some field and find the vehicle. After searching for the RR in what looks to be a junk yard I finally found a RR covered in dirt. As I was sketchy at this point I decided to do a complete evaluation of the RR inside and out.(I was told before I got there that it was in mint condition) Once inside I could easily tell that this RR was smoked in(whether previous owner or the dealership themselves.) On the website it said that the vehicle was not smoked in. Also there was a cig burn in the center console along with one on the sunroof cover. The leather was in awful shape and there were many other flaws inside. Now after turning the vehicle on I checked all the electronics. The dash display was dying out and you could barely even make out the mileage that was on the RR. When I went to pop the hood to check the engine I found that it was impossible since the lever was broken. After checking the outside of the RR I had found many large scratches and also the front passenger side was scuffed up from a fender bender (mirror was cracked along with a small dent above the wheel well) So now I decided that I would take it for a test drive. I pulled out of the junk yard and started driving down the road. After a mile a warning light popped up on the dash and since the display was broken I couldnt' make out what it said. I then turned around to head back to tell them about the light. When I was turning around the engine started to smoke so I parked it in the nearest parking lot. They had told me that this vehicle was inspected and that every thing was in great working condition. Obviously this was a complete lie as they couldnt' even get into the engine compartment. Well good luck if you try to deal with this group of liars.
VANGO SOLD MY RV - KEPT THE MONEYI I purchased a 1997 American Eagle RV from GLENN RHOADES at the VANGO AUTO GROUP on eBay (txharleygirlz) - There was a discrepancy with the milage (100,000 MILES) and I no longer wanted it.I got him to re-sell it on eBay - BIG MISTAKE - he got the money $34500 and 6 months later I have only received $15000.Now he won'y take my call or answer my emails.
My experience at Vandergriff was far less than perfect, It was terrible. Tom Phan was my salesman and Michael Sessions was the Manager on 11/10. I had the grueling sells negotiations and the long wait time while they ate lunch on the sales floor. Tom Phan did not tell me about all the features of the SUV. I asked for a second key for my 2015 Acura RDX and the salesman said he couldn't find one. They slipped the extended warranty and Gap insurance onto the monthly payment and I wasn't informed of this until I was in the Finance Office. I took my boyfriend with me another day and they treated him entirely different. WOMEN beware stay away from this dealership.
Beware !!!Purchased a $ 6,900 vehicle from this auto seller.Test drive went well. Drive home went well, the next morning the transmission went completely out. No warning signs in advance.Contacted seller to ask if he would help since we just purchasedThe day before. The owner "Greg" stated he would make it rightAnd send a mechanic, from that point on, he would never return callsAnd dodged our every attempt to contact him. Professional transmission techs provided leagal proof that the transmission had been rigged for selling purposes. New trans fluids and filter had just been added to hide it's condition. The trans pan was full of metal flakes and the filter was clean, thus indicating it had not sucked up and filtered the already huge amounts of flakes because it was a new filter installed to give it one more day of driving before the flakes would re-gather and slow the trans to get hot and seize up.He is a con man using old used car tricks of an old trade. The title has yet to be filed and sent to us after 2 months. Had a family member Call him by another phone number and he finally answered.Stated he would over night the title. Never happened ! Said the auction house still had it ? RED FLAGS everyone !!!! STAY AWAY... HIS ADDS ARE ON CRAIGSLIST and other small unheard of sites.
Do NOT do it. Although the other reviews are not well written, they are in fact very true. I went in drove a car did the deal go out to leave car won’t start, they jump it off and now there’s ten dash lights on all kinds of wiring issues with head lights. They end up keeping car we come back to get the next day the battery is dead. This time they decide to replace it....hello! I do not want to buy a car that has an issue with draining the battery. A new battery doesn’t fix the problem! Even though we never actually took possession of the car they refused to give us our money. We asked to speak to the owner “the mean old white man” the other reviews speak of. We were refused. 15 minutes later he pulls up, when we try to speak to him he Denys being the owner (even though his picture is online) and told us if we had a problem at wal mart Ms. Walton herself wouldn’t come in to talk it over with me!!!!! Long story short they told us we couldn’t have our money and if we drove the car off the lot they would just add it to the repo list and take it back because in our contract it says if we fail to make timely payments or if they in good faith believe we won’t make future payments they have the right to take the car back and demand the full balance of the car. (I checked the fine print does infact state that) the second the paper was signed they turned into awful people I can’t believe they can live with themselves for doing this to people who are clearly already struggling or we wouldn’t be there to begin with.
