We have been coming to this theater for over 20 years. It was a nice theater and a great price. But I brought dates, my son and my grandchildren. Everyone was always so nice and it feels like home. When the pizza guy was outside in the lobby it was a perfect evening with dinner and a movie. We never had a bad experience. We moved to Dallas and still came here to go to the movies. We moved back and continued to one here. Just saw Beauty and the Beast a couple weeks ago! We will miss y'all. It's the endogenous an era for the Thornewell family. So sad so see you go. ❤️
First run movies at a discounted theater? Almost unheard of UNLESS you've been to Cinemark Six Flags theater. I love this little hidden away gem. I don't go at night because the neighborhood is sketchy BUT during the daylight hours? You can't beat it! The mall is shut down and being renovated BUT the theater is in full swing!
Ripped me off before they opened.
This was our 1st time here the hostess didn't let us know how the process go the service was also bad we had to continue to ask for everything
I have lived in the Arlington area for 40 years. When they built Parks Mall, I enjoyed the theatres. However, I think the theatres at Parks reflect on todays economy. On what used to be a pristine environment to watch a new release, has become a sludge pot of a what used to be nice place to go. These days, the staff congregate about the ticket booth as the soda machines feed the floor with syrupy stickiness. The people preparing the popcorn have no clue of what they are doing. I observed one employee dumping the popcorn hop into the popcorn bin way before it had finished popping. I'll never forget the, "Gee, is it ready?" look he had on his face. His peers knew none the better. I saw grease saturated popcorn bags saturating the queues. That was my first visit, and with the second visit for interstellar, there was no improvement. The popcorn was greasy, and the Soda machines, yes, meaning more than one, were empty, and the floor had the syrupy sticky sense. Note at that point, all the employees were gathered about the ticket booth area not monitoring, or caring about the soda machines. Did I mention they only had one ticket booth open selling tickets? Sadly, the Arlington AMC theatre is had spiraled into a un-managed, smelly, has been place to view a movie. I shan't visit Arlington again. Beware!!!
Love it. Great place to watch movies with the family.
I dont go much to the Arlington AMC but when I do its always a pleasant experience.
Service was really good, but overall dining experience was a letdown table too far away seats uncomfortable
They are too expensive. In this economy I cant afford to go here. And I love movies and love to go here I just wish there prices would lower a bit more. I think people would buy more if its cheaper and would come often. More than they already do.
Newly remodeled with 2 types of seats (Standard theatre with pub tables or leather office chairs and a bar), this theatre is a good value. Menu has LOTS of variety (think of a Chili's type menu) and quality is pretty good. This is an IDEAL spot for parents for a night out, as you can accomplish dinner AND a movie in the same amount of time you'd normally just see a show. Recommended!
