have had an exceptional experience with this facility! I brought my daughter here when she was 3 years old and she had gained so much knowledge and manners. I would recommend bringing your children here because the staff is really loving and respectful. I love them all!! Special thanks to her teachers mrs. Jackie and ms. Allona.
My daughter has attended this facility for 3year and it is one of the best decisions I could have ever made for my child. They are really big on education and the give homework on a weekly bases. The owners go over and beyond for every child, parent, and even the staff. Everyone customer service is genuine and friendly and that is very rare in some daycares. I truly take pride in this center because they have a true passion for the kids. If you are looking for your child to be smart, well fed, and clean at all times, then this is the center for you!
When it comes to naming your child, as parents you may find yourself spending much of your time deciding on the perfect name. What is a perfect name? A perfect name holds value to one’s family/cultural, it signifies importance to a family, and it hold connotation to the family. While in the process of calling different child care facilities for my three-year-old child, I came across Early Care & Education located at 2501 Ball park Way, Arlington, TX 76006. Immediately an enthusiastic welcoming voice answer the phone and her name was Christie. I explained to Christie that I wanted to get the tuition rate for my three-year-old child who is not quite fully potty trained. We giggled a little on how every child is different in learning in that area and eventually they will grasp it. Christie then provided me with the tuition rate for child care for three days out the week and five days out the week. She then proceeds to schedule me a tour around the center for the next business day. She asked me my child’s name and date of birth. I provide her with my son name with the spelling as: St. Jah Andrews and date of birth. I was excited and hopeful that this could be the perfect center for my child, location was perfect and the staff (Christie seem to be friendly.) She concluded with have a good night and see you tomorrow. At that next very moment, I hear Christie speaking with another person (I am assuming another colleague) and this friendly person Christie instantly became annoyed and irritated while communicating to her colleague that a parent has name their child: St Jah, she begins to spell my sons name out to her colleague. I was not able to clearly make out what may have been said from the unknown colleague, but Christie made her opinion strong and distant that my son name was absurd, ridiculous, and makes no sense at all. As I hold the phone tears falls from my eyes in disbelief to hear these harsh comments from a child care
I am beyond furious about what happened with the employees of this facility . if you are a person of color or a person from a different background . I would think twice before enrolling your kids.
My son has been attending Oakwood Academy for 10 years and i really love the staff they always have a smile on their face the minute we walk through the door they always make us feel so welcome. I would recommend this daycare to anyone who needs childcare. If I could rate this daycare 10 stars i would.
My child has been going to Oakwood since he was a year old and we could not be happier with the care he has received. I have loved every teacher he's had and you can tell they really care about him. I also love that it is run by a family and feels very cozy and welcoming. 100% recommend trying out Oakwood!
My two kids have been going to this school for almost 8 months now and they are absolutely the best! Since starting school here my 2 year old is talking non stop in whole sentences she knows her numbers, her colors and her body parts. She has friends in her class that they are so happy to see at the beginning of the day and hug each other goodbye before going home. My one year old is almost walking and they do walking exercises and have him dancing to help build his leg muscles. The director Ms. YA YA takes a personal interest in each kid. And if your kid is having a bad day she'll stop what she's doing and give them a little one on one time. Every teacher there knows all the kids names and interacts with them even if they're not in the same classroom. There are a few disabled kids there and I see the way the teachers take care of them and it just makes me love this school even more. If you are lucky enough to get into this school you can rest assured that your kids will be WELL taken care of!!
This place took my child from public school. Put him on their bus and took him!! This is his second day of kindergarten and your bus driver is on the school camera shown taking him from the school to your location. At what point did you ever check the kids on your bus. You should have a list of children that you are getting ,count them in as they get on the bus a name to every face! You should have seen that my child does not go to your daycare doesn't not belong with you YET YOU TOOK HIM! For about a hour he was with you till YOU were contacted on the possession of my son. You had every excuse to use , its the second day of school allot of new faces ( protocol you have names of who your getting and I'm CERTAIN my son was not one of them) excuses saying they all are the same height.... Blame him cus he got on the bus ...he is FIVE !!!! And when getting my son you are laughing in my face. Nothing about this is funny. YOU TOOK MY CHILD ,HE DOESN'T KNOW YOU ,YOU ABDUCTED HIM!!!!!! Thank you for ruining the trust within the public school system on his second day of kindergarten!!! Your safety regulation really need to be updated and the driver should be fired .
