        Founded in 1904, the Arlington Heights Fire Department is a full-service public agency that is operated by the Village Of Arlington Heights in Illinois. The city operates building, emergency, legal, human resources, planning and community development, police and public works departments. The Arlington Heights Fire Department provides fire suppression, emergency medical and public education services. The department operates a fire academy that trains firefighters in firefighting and specialized rescue skills. It responds to more than 9,000 service calls annually. The Arlington Heights Fire Department works with a team of over 90 shift personnel and operates various fire stations. The department maintains a fleet of engines, aerial ladder trucks and ambulances.
