Overall

Great knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful staff. I bought quite a few gadgets there and was pleased with their service each and every time.

Yaniq in the photo department is my favorite sales person there, she seems to know about everything in the store.

I bought a camera with her and got exactly what I was trying to get for what I was going to do with it :)

6 months ago I had an OnStar mirror installed into my Jeep. It took half of the time other stores estimated and it works great.

Had an ipod adapter installed ...

Had an ipod adapter installed in vehicle and the "professional" team did not hook my electrical wiring back up to my 4 wheel drive. This caused my car to be inoperable for 4 days. Time and money spent was only reimbursed at a percentage of what I actually spent only after I filed an insurance claim against Best Buy because the store was completely uncooperative in this situation. The installation completed by their "professional" team was held together with 2 1/2 feet of black electrical tape. Also, the store is refusing to allow me to return that product. Consumers beware!!!

Ridiculous

My husband and I went to this Best Buy on the tax free Sunday to browse through the computer monitors. But, much to our surprise the isles leading to the monitors were all blocked off except for one way in. It was covered in sales people standing in front of the monitors and computers. Come to find out the idea of the "mess" was to sign up on a list and wait to be assigned to a salesperson. The claim was that they were so busy that it would be chaos without this "mess". We only saw one customer in the area and the rest of the salespeople were just standing around. We weren't free to just browse the merchandise without a salesperson trying to shove a sale down our throats. Best Buy can call it what they want, but as we see it, it was a way to try and push people to buy something. They flock on the customers like buzzards after road kill. We refuse to patronize businesses that practice this kind of business. So they lost at least one sale that day and many more in the future. We refuse to be pressured into buying something. So our computer and accessory purchases will be made at their competitors such as H H Gregg. We've come to find out their prices beat Best Buy any way.

Recent Christmas shopping

I first called and was helped by a friendly associate who let me know the item I wanted was in stock. So I headed to the store and the lady stocking there was also very friendly and helped me find the items I needed. I had NO wait for checkout and was in and out of the store in about 10 minutes. A very pleasant experience
