They wanted me to do a lot of unnecessary procedures. Total cost of around $4,100 out of my pocket. I told them I could not afford it and did not think it was necessary for all the procedures. They then refused to clean my teeth which was covered by my insurance. I then went to another dental office two miles away and got the cleaning and what was necessary for a total cost of $313. My teeth were great and saved myself unnecessary procedures as well s around $3,800 less. This place is a scam! Beware of unnecessary recommendations so that the can make money off of you!
These people are a sham. They don't care if you can afford the treatments or not. All they want is to make money and prescribe unnecessary services. If you cannot afford the services, they will deny you basic services such as cleaning which was covered by my insurance. They refused to provide basic cleaning because they said it would not help because I needed deep cleaning. Even after I insist a basic cleaning, they flat out said "NO". Don't go to this place. They are like sharks.

My older brother recommended West Coast Dental a few years ago, and I finally gave them a try last week. I wish I hadn?t waited this long. My teeth were in horrible shape and I was ashamed to visit the dentist this way. But I felt very comfortable there because the staff is so great and friendly!!
My dentist didn?t make me feel bad for not taking care of my teeth. In fact, he seemed to have compassion and told me that everything was going to be OK. I needed a lot of work done but he explained everything in detail and said that he could take care of it all in a few visits. I was stunned. Of course I was worried about how I was going to pay for all of this, but they set me up on a great payment plan.

West Coast Dental is a great company. They hire some of the best dentists in the industry and know how to take care of their patients. I must admit I was very grouchy when I first called West Coast Dental about a major toothache I was experiencing. I had been in pain for over a week, and couldn?t find a dentist that was able to squeeze me in for an appointment.
But the receptionist who answered the phone at West Coast Dental was exceptionally friendly and professional, and took the time to listen to my nagging, which I later apologized for. The local office was able to give me an ?emergency? appointment that afternoon. I was shocked! I took time off work and was able to see the dentist that day. It turned out I had an infected cavity in need of a major root canal. The dentist prescribed me antibiotics and have me another appointment to come back to fix the issue. My toothache went away that night!

we chose this group for our child's orthdontist and would never recommend it to anyone EVER. After 3 years ! her teeth are in worse shape than when we started,
They told us 1.5 yrs and after 2 they had created an overbite that did not exist previously. When I pointed this out they acted as though they had not noticed then I was told that ""we will only work on that and she'll be done"" a year later no movement at all on the overbite... then they tell me ""if you arent happy you can sign a release and we can just take off the braces and stop treatment"" ! yeah after paying thousands her teeth are worse and there is still no end in sight -

Unfortunately I can only add to the negative comments here.
1. I have arrived before my scheduled appointment and had to wait for over an hour past my appointed time to been seen; on more than one occasion.
2. I have ""needed"" work beyond what my insurance covers. When pressed to explain why it's necessary. The ""reason"" is ""explained"" in a condescending manner, and doesn't make sense.
3. I assumed that the dental care was the first priority of this dental group. A number of incidents over the years have shown me that $$$ is the priority and my (dental) health is secondary.
4. It took me several years (I'm slow) to realize that I entrusted the wrong people with my dental care. After leaving and seeing several other dentists, I learned enough to realize that this dental group also lacks or doesn't use the skills of a good dentist.
In my search for a good dentist, I found good, very good, and excellent (my opinion of course). I place The Arcadia Dentist Group as the only ones in the Bad category.
At least one Star is required for a rating, but I find one star to be a stretch.
Pros: Dr. Lee is very attractive

one thing is for sure is that the other comments about pricing is very true just know this facility is always full of suprises. the staff are soo rude especially one female in particular who handles the pricing and procedures that will be getting done the doctors dont explain anything to you they just go into the room and start working and when you ask a questions they get annoyed one responce from the doctors were ""you know what that is"" i said no..that dr said ok and left it at that. they are unprofessional and always mix up their charts. to get an apt is a hassle and they always charge extra for emergencies had work done and ended up having the teeth removed at another facility other denitstis couldnt beleive what more damage they were doing to my mouth. i wil never return there again especially with their out of the box pricing and extremely un professional staff.

I walked into another dental office when i left your office and they had no problem offering me a Deep Cleaning and scaling for a $7 copay! you guys wanted over $600.00 for the same thing!!! Antibiotic injections, my behind!! You are just trying to sell Veneers and wanting to do root canals and crown work on teeth that are still okay! Talking trash about other dentists work-Not cool! Even the insurance co (dental Health services) said that all this "needed work" doesn't sound right!!! I am in the process of contacting the BBB, and telling everyone I know how horrible of an experience I had! It took over two hours total for you to say that you wont clean my teeth unless I pay over $600.00 thats just not right!!! and the first appointment we had last week... we had an 11am appointment and we were there 20 min early to fill out any additional paperwork, yet at 11:45 (over an hour wasted in the waiting room) when i asked "how much longer, we had an 11am appointment" they smiled and said it'll be at least 20 min before the doctor can see you and then it'll take about an hour and a half to two hours for the exam! so we had to re-schedule and that was today! what a waste of time!!! but at least you guys get paid for it....

otally agree with the other comments. I too had to wait over one hour after my scheduled appointment and I was 15 early so it's not like I missed my appt.
On another occasion they even forgot we where waiting for an estimate and the person had gone on break!
They are also extremely pushy with their services and ""upgrades"". If my insurance covers a certain service and I decline their 200.00 ""upgrade"" they actually have the nerve to give the look and walk away with an attitude. At the beginning of March, my daughter stopped to get a cleaning and they billed the wrong company and their charge of course got declined. Then, they billed my insurance company with the wrong name on the bill and they got declined again. ALL OF THIS, WAS THEIR MISTAKE but they still had the nerve to send me to collections even after I've called and complained. Almost 4 months after the visit, they are still send me nasty letters even though they admit they made a mistake! I HATE THEM and I WILL NEVER, EVER GO TO THEM AGAIN!!!
