My mother was charged $225 for her initial exam and x-rays today. This was the total after a 10% discount and these charges did not even include a cleaning. My mother was not informed of the required new patient procedures, nor of their cost and that payment was due immediately, upon booking the appointment. I called to clarify this point and Sarah, the receptionist, argued with me and implied that my mother "forgot" that she was given this information prior to the appointment. My mother's memory is intact, but I fear for any elderly person who visits this dental office. I asked why their prices are 3-4 times more than any other area dentist and was given the reason that their dentists are "exceptional." I will take my chances elsewhere. Jolene G.
