just had the most awesome experience at Krieger Jewelers in Appleton! I had no idea what I wanted in an engagement ring... the kind sales staff took the time to explain things to me like how gold is a soft precious metal and needs to be taken care of. I never thought of the fact that the smaller my diamonds in my band would mean the less gold that would be holding it in! I really hope my boyfriend goes back to get the one that I fell in love with there! cant wait to do more business there.

I have shopped here many times and every time I walked away excited and happy about my purchases. The staff there are very friendly and knowledgeable about their product. I will cont shopping there for all jewelry that I will be purchasing.

Been there twice. Once to have my diamond repaired, And once to have the set resized. Both times very good customer service. Excellent job done on both rings. When I picked them up the young man waiting on us even cleaned the 2 silver rings I was wearing and told me the stone in one, that I had bought at an antique shop, was real. Prices (gold) comparable to other jewelers. Would definitely go back.

What do you expect from a store that gives you a rifle with your engagement ring purchase? If she says no, just shoot her...? Of course they are comparing OUR PRESIDENT to terrorists. Classless, low brow, ignorant, race-baiting. I would never shop there before, and Jay Krieger can count on my continued aversion to his brand. No stars! but I have to give at least one to comment.

Steve S.

Heard a radio spot on 105.7 about "Obama and the terrorist want you to be afraid" Inferring that Obama is somehow colluding with terrorists to spoil the holiday season like some sort of Islam-extremist-Grinch-like character? Unbelievable. That is wrong on so many levels. Who uses terrorism to promote jewelry sales ? Unbelievable.

Cheryl T.

Their latest ad on radio is in extremely poor taste. What does one's political views have to do with selling jewelry? I will never shop there!

Darren P.

I heard it and was completely stunned! I am absolutely sure they will hold true to their beliefs and not accept money from us terrorist supports. You know, people like me who is a disabled veteran who voted for Obama twice... or my 76 year old mother who also voted for him. Nah... they will insult and denigrate half of the population to pander to the lowest denominator, but be happy to take anyone's money,

Bird L.

Thank you, Alisia B. for the confirmation. My niece and I couldn't believe our ears, either. What a nasty, mean-spirited, ignorant sound-bite for a business to put out. Almost unbelievable to lying ears... is it possible the ad was sabotoged, unbenownst to Kreuger? How could a radio station allow this?

Alisia B.

Couldn't believe the commetcial I heard on the radio today comparing the president to terrorists. Is this how a professional business presents itself? Rediculous. I won't ever shop here and plan to spread the message.

Mchenry J.

I'd never spend a dime here. They run false radio ads comparing the president to terrorist. Not a place that deserves your business.

I have always had a wonderful experience at Krieger's. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the jewelry is gorgeous!

I've discovered that the store that I trusted to sell my scrap and extra gold and sterling jewelry to has been ripping me off for the past 2 yrs. at least. They don't weigh in front of you, giving you whatever they think will impress you.
Found this to be a true fact this last Fr., 10/29. Brought in items, including my old wedding ring set to trade in for a newer, better set. Got $100 for one of the necklaces, later, after not finding any deals, got the necklace back. Took it to another gold buyer and received $180 for the same necklace.

Plus, how they say that you get double the money of any brought in scrap jewelry towards any purchase with them isn't true at all. In the past, always brought in and used my scrap jewelry to help pay for jewelry repairs, this time being the 1st time I wanted to try their double the value to purchase a new, different wedding set.
Jay also likes to talk one into instead sell items brought in for repairs.
I'm very disappointed and can't believe I was taken advantage of for so long w/o knowing. REALLY TRUSTED HIM.

My boyfriend and I went in there with full intentions to make a purchase. We also had gold we wanted to sell and to use towards our purchase.

First off we didn't even get a hello or we will be with you shortly. Second, as we stood looking around the store there were 2 ladies just rearranging the case. They looked at us and just kept ignoring us. After waiting 15 minutes of just standing there waiting for someone to assist us we said whatever and left. This place is pathetic

What a joke

Just took a diamond and emerald ring in to get appraised and they said it was worth approx. $200 or $300 dollars. Gold is at an all time high, and I had this ring appraised 2 years ago from my trusted jeweler in my town and it came in at $1,200.
Kreiger said $200 or $300? I don't think so. I'll keep my buisness in my community anyways, I was just interested in Kreiger's commercial about how if you trade in your jewelry there they will pay you double. Hah. Double of nothing. Watch out consumers. What a scam.

My fiance purchased my engagement ring at this establishment. He tried his best, but was NOT pointed out the completely visible defect on the diamond. Nor was there an estimate with the description of the stone given to him upon sale. NOTHING on paper noting the flaw. We took the routine channel for complaints, but Krieger never acknowledged.

Never would I recommend this store.
