IT APPEARS THAT THE BUSINESS'S OWNERSHIP HAS CHANGED SINCE I USED THEM EARLY IN 2008. THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON THE OWNERS OF THE BUSINESS IN 2008. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO REMOVE REVIEW SO I APOLOGIZE TO CURRENT OWNERS FOR A BAD REVIEW. Early in 2008 we bought 4 snow tires and 4 rims for our 2005 Honda Element. They sold us outdated tires which were the wrong size for our car in addition to selling us rims that didn't fit properly on the car. Our Honda dealer caught the problem and when I called Auto Aces they refused to correct their "error". We had to buy 4 new tires and 4 new rims because the rims Auto Aces sold us fit so poorly that we had to tighten them down weekly to keep them from falling off of the car!!! Terrible experience!!!!
The best locksmith , I ever had work done ! They showed up on time and did great work ! I highly recommend , calling these guys , great job !
dont just walk away from these rip off artist, RUN! away, Son needed a new motor put in his car, car came back needing over $1000 worth of new repairs from the things they broke (not to mention the quality of the motor they put in being poor at best) called them to see what they were going to do about fixing what they broke, they simply denied breaking anything.. hmmm.. car goes in with one problem , comes back with many others.. so, now not only out the money spent on them, we need to come up with more money to fix what they broke, and hire an attorney. I simply wouldnt hire these idiots to pump up a bicycle tire
This morning I discovered a bead leak on one of my winter tires, needing it quick I needed some where close. That leaves me with Matthews Tire or Tires Plus.Always trying to stay true to local or intrastate companies I went to Matthews... And never again!I pick it up to find the tech over tightened my wheel on the wheel balancer causing deep scratches.When showing the manager of course I was confronted with denial.I've only two lug mounted the rim once to move the car since being powder coated."Nope, there's no way we did that. ""Did we take the wheel off?""Oh well that's from the lugs then""Oh look over here, where its bubbling up, must be the finish.""Has this (the finish) even had time to dry?"This is a winter rim, I didn't do a perfect prep before it was coated so there are imperfections.Last time I checked powder coating was BAKED on not to mention POWDER, there for never going on wet.After walking out due to my extreme rise in anger, I stepped back inside to demand a refund. "Why would I do that?!"After snatched my invoice and doing some computer stuff, I was handed my new invoice with a "There's just no way we did that."
his auto center is terrible, terrible!! I had a very very bad experience in my car engine oil change service with them recently. I took my car for engine oil change at Appleton sears auto center before Christmas. The second day I drove my car to Wisconsin Dells. When we almost arrived at Dells, I heard a big noise from the engine. A while later, the engine oil low light is on and check engine light is on. I have to stop at the gas station and bought a large quantity of engine oil to pour into the engine. On the third day I could not go anywhere for vacation and brought my car to Walmart auto center. The Walmart guy found the O ring was missing when Sears guys had the oil change. I called sears people and they said they would be responsible for everything. But after I came back to Appleton and brought my vehicle to Sears, they only took a look at the vehicle bottom and claimed there was nothing wrong. They only refund me the money I had service at Walmart. They didn't even admit they did something wrong in their oil change service even I showed them the diagnostics the Walmart guy did, which showed the O ring was not put back after Sears did oil change. The missing O ring caused a severe oil leakage. I believe there was some damage to my vehicle engine and want the engine to be checked. They denied that. They didn't say any sorry words to me regardless the fact they ruined my holiday and my vehicle. They didn't even want to refund me the terrible oil change service charge they made. I called the Sears complain center a lot of times. They didn't want to do anything else except a general apology email to me. I had been a loyal customer of Sears for many years. But this time, Sears really disappointed me in resolving this issue. I will never shop in Sears anymore. I will take further actions to protect my interest.
I have been taking our family's vehicles here for years. They tell us what they need and what can wait. Always friendly and professional.
I've used them for several years but then when I recently got an oil change I had a oil pressure light come on the next day, The Dealer informed me that the oil filter was crushed and was likely never changed causing low oil pressure. After talking to the manager he said he could not refund my money and only the owner could. I gave him my name and info for the owner to call to discuss. I never heard back. My Recommendation is to never keep on driving as they obviously do not care about there customers...
Honest mechanic with reasonable prices. Won't try and sell you stuff you don't need. Will be back!

Told them not to touch my tires, I had just checked that inflation level was correct (40psi). They didn't listen and proceeded to let air out of the tires on one side of my vehicle before I caught them. Then they didn't re-inflate the tires to the same level, claiming their gauge read 44ps. When checked with my gauge it didnt even read 38psi. So I had to drive with tires on one side of my vehicle at lower level than the other to a place I could correct their screw up. Best part is, the automated machine I used to fill my tires had a matching reading to my gauge, which indicated that the gauge they use is WRONG!!!!!!! Don't trust pretend mechanics with faulty equipment, improper tire pressure causes damage to tires and effects handling/safety.
