My insurance approved an order for maintenance on my power chair. All it needs are batteries. The referral went to Aero Medical first, then from there to Desert Medical Equipment. It took 3 messages before anyone would talk to me, and then he was cavalier and rude in spite of my dire circumstance. I explained that I'm a bilateral amputee and the chair, in effect, is my legs. The batteries are dead so I'm stranded. He curtly informed me that they don't have a regular schedule for (my area) but when/if a tech happens to be in the area they would give me a call. What!? I'm dead in the water, and you don't know if you can come to my area or not? The rudeness and lack of empathy was surprising and hurtful. I cannot recommend these people. They seemingly don't care about the people they're in business to serve.
Cont. reschedules delivery of DME, very rude, called me by another name when they call so I thought it was a wrong number or joke. Home bound patients rely heavily on these services and it's disgusting when one just gets kicked to the back of the line over and over again. I have asked the insurance for a redirect to another company. These people are never going to do anything!
