This is my Thyroid story and my Dr. Dr. S. Damani is the very best endocronaglist that i have ever met He has been my Dr. for about 20 years or more, He has saved my life after another Dr. (Dr. Kelly Ahmed) overdosed me on synthroid medication 4 times the amount i should have been on for months. She had me on 4 times the amount I should have been on up to 300 mg. at one point and he got it straight. I was days way from death when I arrived at St Mary's hospital. He also saved me from serious eye problems when another Dr.( Dr. Nanda Biswas) had failed to catch my thyroid that was out of control and my left was patruding and I was in need of eye surgery so Dr. Damani sent me to Loma Linda eye clinic where a eye Dr. said there was nothing they could do. I went back to Dr. Damani and he said to me "Are we going to settle for that" and I said "no" so he had one of his staff get Jules Stine Institude on the phone and they set me up with a Dr there who also had another patient with a much worse case then I had with both eyes. Discover Health network had done a story about her and I say it and even I contacted the Ladies Husband after I saw it and told him about my story and both of our eyes we surgeries we a suscess and went on to lives went on as normal. His Mother just passed away last week and today I am going to go to the Funeral service to be there to support him. He is the best!!! He is now treating me for my Parathyroid and sending me to a surgeon at Loma Linda to see him for surgery for a surgery I may need to remove a benign tumor. He only sends me to the best!!!
