On Saturday morning, 12/24, my...

On Saturday morning, 12/24, my family and I decided to try this restaurant that recently opened at Wekiwa Springs Road and 436. They were very busy and we waited about 2 minutes while they cleared a table for us. The server immediately took our order and that's went things went downhill. After waiting about a half hour, we realized something was wrong. When the server passed by, we inquired about our order. She told us "tickets had gotten mixed up and were out of order. We would be served shortly". After another fifteen minutes went by, a young woman came over and said "You must be starved". We replied "This is absolutely atrocious. What makes it even worse is that the server doesn't even come over to explain what's taking so long". We explained that the table diagonally across from us had already been served although they arrived after we did. She replied to us "We weren't prepared for you". The young women told us she is the daughter of the owner and he couldn't be there so he left her in charge. She kept saying she was sorry and then walked away. Within five minutes, she came back and told us she called her dad and he told her to comp our breakfasts and he wanted our name and home phone number so he can speak to us. We complied with her request. Our wait for breakfast continued. Other customers seated next to us told us they also had to wait forty minutes to be served. At this point, we were waiting just about an hour when the table next to us is served lunch. They also arrived about fifteen minutes after we did. At this point, we just left. It seems that Roc City Diner has absolutely no idea of how to run a restaurant. Obviously, we can't comment on the food since we didn't get the opportunity to taste any.
