Your Pets Home Away From Home
Our family considers ourselves very fortunate to work so closely with each other and to do a work that we all love. We enjoy taking care of your wonderful pets and getting to know their names and personalities during their stay. We all play a role, along with our carefully selected staff, in ensuring your pet gets the care they deserve while they are with us. We take pride in providing a positive experience for you and your pet while you are away from home.
Family owned and operated since the 1960s, Green Level Kennel was purchased by our family in 2003. The facility has gone through many upgrades through the years including a major renovation during 2006 and 2007. While many boarding facilities have flashy lobbies and exterior facades, we have focused our time, energy and finances on the parts of the facility that provide the best experience for your pet.
We have improved the dog and cat enclosures both cosmetically and functionally while providing them with ample room to feel as comfortable as possible. We also have fantastic play yards where your dog can interact with other dogs if you desire. We are very proud of the experience we can provide for your pet, and we hope your family member will feel at home with our family while you are away.

This place is pretty good when it comes to getting your pets out and socializing with others. Their pick up and drop off hours are kind of annoying though, but understandable. The only thing that really ticked me off is the feeding. I boarded my two dogs together. They are on the same schedule. I measured the exact amount needed for the length of their stay. When I picked them up, there was still almost half a bag left for both. So, my dogs were underfed by almost half the amount of food. Also, the treats I provided were not given at all. Only reason I would use them again is if I had no other choice.
During the Christmas season when my daughter was little the owner left a kid in charge of feeding the animals. We were gone two weeks only to return to see our dog had not been fed. She lost 20% of her weight. over $700 in vet bills paid by the owner. Avoid this kennel!

This is the best kept secret...and maybe we should keep it! But seriously, we have a hard-to-love hound...and yet...they ""get"" her! If you want honest-to-goodness service and real people...this is your kennel. Nothing fancy...just caring. Love you guys!
We have used Green Level kennel for years. The personal service and true caring for our senior dog means so much when we are away. It is not fancy but the animals are well cared for and get a lot of attention. A mom and pop type of atmosphere, my dog always is sad when we drop her, comes home happy to see us and adjusts as if we never left her. I trust these folks with our precious King Charles Cav. and do not feel as guilty as i know she is in the best of hands. Karen has vet experience which adds to the security we feel. The entire family at green level are the best!

We have been taking our Mr. Fursuit to Green Level for about a year now...
It really is the best kept secret in Wake County.
They are always friendly and very accomodating.
The kennel is spotless and I like the fact that you can tour it without any previous notice, unlike other kennels we have tried, that have certain hours for touring.
The owners also live on the premisis, so there is always someone close by if there is an emergency.
I can't say enough good things about them!!!!

I have 2 very large dogs, one of which only a mother could love, if you know what I mean...they are so good to them BOTH! Prices are very competitive and clearly spelled out. They never try and sell you up either. Just friendly, caring people who must really enjoy what they do. I love that you are welcome to tour the kennel and see where your dog(s) will be sleeping. One of the few places that lets you bring toys/beds from home. Plus I love that mine can room together in a double-wide...makes it easier on them. Thanks GLK, we love you!!!

We have used Green Level Kennels for two or three years now and wouldn't think of taking our dogs else where. The dogs are always treated with excellent care. The kennel personnel take the time to care for our dogs as we would. The only down side is our dogs love to go there!! Overall just a great place.

I have tried a few kennels since moving to Cary from a large city. I am very particular, as I have an older dog who is very shy and can be fragile. I found the kennels to be clean and the staff to be very friendly. I also liked that my dog, who loves the outdoors, was able to be outside for 1.5 hours each day without an extra charge. Most places charge the about same amount just to board plus additional fees if you want ""puppy playtime."" Every staff member I spoke to by phone and when I picked up my dog knew her by name after only one day. They were able to give reports on how she was doing and even told me about a few of her quirky habits, like nosing through her food bowl when she eats. Upon departure, she seemed happy and did not smell at all, even thought I did not have her bathed. Based onthe cleanliness, firendliness and overall care at this kennel, I would recommend it highly!

It's taken us 3 years to find an acceptable kennel in the Triangle area and we are VERY selective. Most places charge more than the Hilton does for Donald Trump, or they drop your pet in the kennel and forget about them until you return, giving only minimal attention. Green Level has friendly staff, very attentive to our dog and his 'special needs', they are caring and kind and exhibit sincere concern for the animals they board. Their rates are very reasonable, too. The facilities are older than most so they are not ""spa-like"" if you want yours pampered, but they do a great job at keeping them clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend them!

We have used Green Level for over 4 years now and they have provided our baby with wonderful care. They have a great staff who takes time to play with and love all the animals left in their care. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a good kennel.
