The owner Randy is a jerk. He acts like you are bothering him because you have a question about something that YOU WANT TO BUY FROM HIM! Yes, you heard me right ~ I want to give him money for something he is selling except he isn't helpful and doesn't care if you go there or not. He doesn't answer your question and actually makes it a scary experience trying to square up the details and place the order. This week he screwed up a deadline I have! It has been 3 days since I ordered 75 copies! Still nothing! This is not the first time I have had to beg him to do printing.... I won't be going there again.
PLEASE DON'T GIVE THIS GUY YOUR MONEY! I worked with Randy in Antioch on a project recently. I was very disappointed with the results. I needed some simple index card sized color prints made and we agreed to a price and a date. Randy, whom I think is the owner, was unable to finish the job when we agreed to and ended up completing the job several days late. In addition, the quality of the print was really disappointing. There were scuffs on the surface of many of the cards and a handful of them had speckles on the print. I had to get 20 sets reprinted elsewhere to make up for the worst of them. All that said I still ended up paying full price because Randy was so terribly unpleasant to try to negotiate with when I approached him about all the problems I had. Bad experience, I'd strongly recommend you look elsewhere.
I first went into the shop to have some small mailing-postcards and envelopes printed. It took over 4 weeks to complete! I submitted my order online and asked please let me know a quote and when my items can be expected to be completed. I did receive a quote but no time-frame, so I assumed I would refollow-up in a week. After trying to follow-up - 4 WEEKS LATER - I was told they were completed! Wow - long time for a simple black and white job - but thought maybe it was just a busy season, whatever. Price seemed ok-ish, so thought I'd give another shot.
Second time, I go back HUGE MISTAKE - I submitted my order which is for an event (as in it has a deadline when it needs to be mailed!) and 4 WEEKS LATER I am told me ORDER WAS LOST!!!!! And can I please re-submit everything, and they will bump it up yadda yadda. A week later (going on WEEK 6) still NO ORDER!!! The shop never offered any discount, or follow-up except once.
My suggestion to the shop:
GET ORGANIZED! As a business you are supposed to be a professional at your service/product - that means keeping track of orders, customer service, follow-up, etc. NONE of this was received.
No wonder people choose to drive 10 miles out of the way to go a Staples or Office Max - at least they don't lose orders!!!! Unless you have time to WASTE, and essentially don't care if your order doesn't get done ever - DO NOT GO HERE!
I would like to say that I gave this shop multiple opportunities to rectify their actions (or lack of) prior to posting this! I prefer to use small business shops whenever possible because I like to support families and my local community - however, now I can understand why so many small business fold, and especially during the recent economic issues customers cannot afford to have their TIME WASTED! This is exactly what happened to me!
I had used them several times and was quite pleased with their work and prices. It was good, high quality work and fair prices. My last project was CD case covers/inserts. For some reason, after three tries, they could not get them cut to the proper size to fit in the case. When I went to pick them up the last time, the size still looked wrong. I asked the owner Randy where is the CD case I left you, I want to try them out and see if they fit. He said he didn't know where the case was, but that they were fine. Well when I got home, sure enough, they were cut too big and wouldn't fit in the case. I called Impressions Count and spoke to the owner Randy. He said he would pick them up that evening and make everything right. He never showed up. I had to have them cut at another printing shop. I don't really know what went wrong,
I had, and continue to have, excellent experiences with Impressions Count.
I have used their printing services over 20 times this past year alone - everything
from business cards, brochures, vinyl sign banners, business forms, letterheads.
Excellent service as well. Thank you Impressions Count for always making my business look great!
Please think twice before you use this company!!! I had them print up some business cards....they were printed wrong three times and the customer service even worse. Be warned!!!
Dear Jene2177 - My name is Randy and I am the owner of Impressions Count. May I ask for you to tell me your company name so I could look into the situation, and see what happened that created your response? If in fact this did happen, we need to learn from it and I would love to use this a teaching item. Randy Nolan President
