will never shop there again. their return policy is exchange or store credit within 7 days of purchase (no refund). after that you are out of luck- no refund, no store credit, no exchange. don't want to give them any stars at all!
December 30, 2008Yesterday, I went to NY & Co. for a "big sale" going on. Sure enough, lots of things were on sale so I made my choices and was faced with a huge line for the cashier. Two girls were working registers and 2 other registers were not being used. I was in line with at least 25 women and we suggested to the manager that more registers should be open. The answer was, "we were trying to get more help." Finally, another register opened after they had enough complaining.I like NY & Co. merchandise but I absolutely will not stand in line again for any kind of sale, no matter how good. I was also told by an employee that, "a lot of employees were off." Well, I don't care!! This is your problem, not mine, standing in line. I don't care that people were off. Your company should have someone to replace those people who are off. Your cashiers worked methodically trying to get thru the customers, ignoring all of the comments of unhappy shoppers. It was a bad situation for all; for those of us in line and your cashiers.Everyone is busy. I am busy too. The Annapolis store needs to clean up its act. I, for one will not be shopping at NY and Company unless I see more employees serving customers.Thank you, Luann ArmourAnnapolis, MD410-268-3911
