When Mrs.Gilbert looked through my papers, she repeated, "You make more than me!" which is very unprofessional. Once she learned that I did not know American laws and prices well (I am a naturalized citizen), she attempted to charge me... about $4000 for her filing my tax declaration, which cost $350. She always demanded 100% payment upfront, and my tax return was straightforward ( as I understand now). I had paid for another consultation upfront, as she had always demanded. She gave me 48 hours to settle this bill and sent reminders. I involved a lawyer and informed her that we would notify the Department of Labour of her actions. Immediately, this note cut her appetite.
She is a scam and a criminal.
Secondly, she made mistakes in her report that she proudly sent to me, complimenting herself. I notified her about this, and she asked me to stay away from her.
She must be more professional, correct mistakes, and by her age to learn how to make a simple tax return.
The third thing: if for some reason you still decide to contact her, be aware of her questionable stories full of dubious adventures where she always presents herself as a wise, bright, fearless hero.
