Been waiting years to come here. When I arrived the I was the only person in line and the cook asked me 4 times in one minute what I wanted. I told him I was still deciding and he very rudely told me to have fun as he walked off and left me standing there untill i left. What a joke!

This place is a copy of the 'Soup Nazi' concept and they are proud of it. It is cramped, crowded and staffed by people with major attitudes. You follow their idiotic rules or else 'no burger for you'. My wife got a seat for us while I went to order, as there were only 2 seats left. Once I got in line, following each of their rules for ordering, I made the mistake of asking for an extra napkin for my wife. They then told me to point her out, and made her get in line, I was not allowed to order for her. Who do these people think they are!!After all this, the food was a joke. They serve these microscopic gray gross burgers, McDonalds is ten times better than this junk. We also ordered the mixed fried veggies which came out as a greasy doughy mess. Only college kids who don't know any better would waste their time at this dump.
Blimpy Burger is a great Ann Arbor establishment. The burgers are good and juicy and the fries are hot and crisp. For the people complaining about the service, that is part of the Blimpy Burger experience, part of the gimmick that makes it so unique. It is similar in style to the mock 50's diners where the waitresses are rude to you. You never hear anyone complaining about those restaurants. All in all, they have amazing burgers you can top any way you want. A definite spot to visit in Ann Arbor.
this may be a place w/ great food but if you want good service don't bother to try & eat here. this resturant has the most rude employees we've met. It's difficult to find parking to patronize this hole in the ground. When we asked for change to put in the meter for parking we were told they don't have any. We decided it would be cheaper & more enjoyable to avoid a parking ticket & go else where.
This place is a tradition among U of M students, and the price is why. They're so affordable! And they have toppings for burgers that will blow your mind! Hot peppers, bananas, whatever you want-and they have the best fried cauliflower around. You can get one burger patty or up to six, and have it on an ordinary bun or a kaiser roll, and eat inside or out-but you'll always enjoy it and you'll always be able to afford it. You have to try this place!
