Myself and a few coaches were in town for a track meet and came in for drinks and appetizers at the bar. Mallory proved to be a very competent and amicable bartender (able to handle our shenanigans).A few of us ordered the calamari appetizer- it was fantastic! It wasn't too chewy and you got a lot of good pieces. The breading wasn't overdone or soggy. It comes with a dill sauce for dipping which is tasty. Honestly, as much as I liked the sauce, I preferred it without. Another person got the sliders which he described as very good. A club sandwich was enjoying quite a bit by another in our party. However, another got the salmon that, while good, didn't wow her.
Not the normal variety of donuts you would hope to get from Tim Hortons. But they still had a full menu of sandwiches
Pretty good tea, black bubbles are gross. Mango stars are yummy!Nice crew, good music, wish there were more couches, though!
They take the serve out of service for their mediocre coffee. Been in dozens of times. Half of those I get "I'll be with you in a minute" then wait four or five minutes before leaving empty-handed. It's worse when there's more than two employees behind the counter. All I want is a to-go cup to fill myself at one of the self-serve urns.If I didn't have to be downstairs every week I wouldn't stop in at all. Whenever I see more than one person in line I don't even bother.
Best coffee and chocolate in Ann Arbor. Great price, fresh ingradiants, fantastic service. I go there anytime. I like their location which is easy on easy off on Jackson road... I stop there every morning before getting on I94.
