I received an email confirmation via email that our washer and dryer were at the store but that we were still waiting on the fridge that we ordered & it would not be there til the 6th (like we already knew)I contacted the store to make sure that it was there on 6/4/2014 and spoke to Chris a manager at the Ankeny Store on Delaware. He told me yes in fact it was in so I told him we would be by to pick it up tonight. When my fiance & his father went to pick it up they went to the front desk & spoke to Erika Mikeala & another girl (obviously knew since she didnt know how to look things up) They looked in the computer and the girls stated it doesnt look like it is here we're sorry. My fiance proceeded to tell them yes it was & that we received an email & called earlier. they said go to the back desk in appliances. They went to the back where they met with Caitlin & she also said that it was not there & went in back to look & said it was out for delivery which meant that it would be here tomorrow. My fiance said no we were told it was here & that the only thing were waiting on is the fridge which is supposed to be delivered the 6th. She said she saw that as well but the washer/dryer were not here. So they left. I called the store & Chris answered & I asked him again if our washer/dryer was there & he said it was & i explained to him that 3 reps told us that he must have been mistaken because the computer shows that it is NOT here. I asked that they deliver it free of charge since we had already been out to get it & they couldnt get it together. He said let me let you go & call you back in a few. He calls me 40 min. later & tells me that NOBODY came in looking for a washer/dryer & that he spoke to every employee at the store. I proceeded to give him names & descriptions of the 3 girls we spoke to & names. He then told me that they did work there but said they did not talk to anyone looking for a washer/dryer. I told him to check security tapes & i didnt understand how he couldnt believe he even after I gave names & descriptions. He said that they would never give false info out. I then asked to speak to someone higher than him. He put Tim on the phone who then told me he didnt feel they should accept 100% liability since we didnt ask more people!! Are you serious? So if 9 out of 10 say it isnt there & 1 person says it is. Who are we supposed to believe?! Obviously we have the believe the employees that were working. If they cant do their job then why are they employees? I will NOT shop here unless they apologize for their mess up & pay the FULL delivery charge NOT the half price like TIM the GM said he would. We have MUCH more money to spend there since we just bought a home & wanted to make upgrades. I will just have to go to Home Depot or Lowe unless this issue is fixed. I will not tolerate it.
