Overall
menards is the best

this is the best home improment store around. they have the best prices and the employees really know what they are talking about. if you need help, they can help you. the do have a few employees who are really rude to the customers but there are a few that are GREAT & if you go to them you have a GREAT shopping trip & get out of there with what you need & how to do the job you have to get done!!!

Overall
Wish we had Home Depot

I was in the plumbing department and there was gentleman in there that really should not be working in customer service. His name was Trevan. The whole time he was waiting on me he acted like he was more interested in anything BUT. I was going to let it pass but talked to a friend of mine and she experienced the same attitude from the same worker. When my husband sent me back into the store for the second time because the first time I obviously was not able to get what he wanted because Trevan did not know as much as he thought he did or else was not really listening to me in the first place, I ended up being helped by an older gentleman who was new but at least he tried to help me in anyway he could and I went home with the right things!

Overall
cleaner than home depot

Finally it is nice to have a place that is open on weekends when you want to work. Local lumber yards only open till noon on Saturdays and closed on Sunday. How can you get anything done with that schedule. The only other option was to drive 16 miles away but not anymore thanks to menards.
