Terrible!! Unprofessional!! Diagnosis for taking old unit out was completely uncorrect in that the unit could and can be removed. This led to me to not be able to use AHS. I would not count on these people to replace ANYTHING IN ,MY HOME. I'll pay extra and go outside AHS not to use Guarantee Services

0 stars! Vendor sent by warranty company. They've been 2 times and fixed nothing. First visit guys were very nice and added some freon and said the soaked duct work would dry out (but leak they were called out for to begin with was not fixed and duct work continued to fill up). Tech on 7/15/17 touched the duct and said "Oh God" and then went to call his supervisor who was not able to be reached. So he called the office manager and she told him not to do anything because they could get in trouble for draining that much water if it caused damage to our property so they needed to get authorization first. I immediately called AHS who tried to call Guaranteed Services to no avail. Messages were left stating that they needed the tech to submit the diagnosis so that the authorization department could review. On Monday 7/15/17 I received a message from Guaranteed Services indicating they needed to come back out to see if they could figure out why the AC was leaking ( even though on 7/13/17 they had refused to try to discover the cause for the leak due until the duct work was drained). I returned their call and got their voice mail and told them that per AHS they needed to submit the details as requested so that authorization could be obtained. I asked them to please call or do whatever they had been asked to do as soon as possible.
On Thursday 7/20/17 I called AHS because I had heard nothing. The rep stated they had not heard from Guaranteed Services at all. She passed the issue off as an escalation (AHS had asked them 3 times and I had contacted them 1 time at this point asking them to send what was needed). On 7/24/17 at 6:45pm the rep from AHS called back with an update and said system showed that Guaranteed Services had been trying to reach me. The vendor rep said that Guaranteed Services was claiming they were reaching out to us and that we were not calling them back which is a complete lie.

The whole experience during 4 months of no A/C July-October working with this company assigned by my home warranty was horrendous. They don't know what they're doing, they're dishonest, and they don't really care. They topped it off with cutting a part meant for a different unit down to cram into our unit... of course it still didn't fix the unit. Got a new company to come out and he had it up and running in 2 days. Guaranteed Services has a bad rep in the area for good reason, stay away! I have never written a review for any company good or bad, but I feel like other families should not have to endure what we have

These guys are the service providers for American Home Shield home warranties. They are terrible. My furnace went out a month ago and got scheduled an appointment on a Monday, a week later. Scheduled for the AM I took off from work to meet them only to place a call noon time to find that they wouldn't be able to make it until 4PM. They showed said they fixed it, that the heating element would heat until the heat pump kicked in and it didn't. 2 hours later I called the technician's phone number and was instructed put in another claim for a revisit and they would come Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. Went through AHS, later to find GS responded back that they could not contact the customer. Called the GS office and the answering system said they were closed to Monday for the holiday. This must be their standard cop-out. I was never contacted The next appointment was 2 weeks later and took off from work again. I called their office the day before to confirm the next day's 2-4 appointment. Got the technicians cell number and called at 1:30 to confirm the time, at which point I was told closer to 4PM and I told him that I'm here waiting. I found a message on my phone requesting a call back with this accusing message saying they tried to call me and they can't come if I won't be there. Calling them back I got this song and dance that they're not allow to make the call unless it's confirmed. I stated that we had talked, confirmed that I would be here waiting. Around and around it went that I didn't answer the phone when they called and that's my issue, they called. After using logic on them, the statement was made that I should call AHS for another provider. They are the only AHS provider or they will come 10 AM Saturday morning. Again I told them I will absolutely for sure be here. Then it was change to between 10-12 and I needed to call them at 10. It sound pretty shady to me, I will write again to tell how it turns out. So far they took my $125 service co-pay and ran.

Very unprofessional serviceman in his appearance, sarcastic attitude and did NOTHING diagnostically to solve the problem. He may have spent maybe 15 minutes here, took his service fee, said and said the job was complete!

I would NEVER call this company or waste any more of my time and money with Guarantee Services!

They charge you $160 + a $75 service visit fee to replace a run capacitor ($14.03 at a local supply store). That is insulting and dishonest considering that other local AC repair places charge half that price. Stay away, folks!



Stay away! Terrible company!

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Not sure how this company stays in business with their attitudes and untrained technicians. Never diagnosed he problem. Kept coming out to "fix" it, with no success. Left me and my family with a broken ac and almost impossible to contact. Pretty sure their "contact number" is a cell phone that is cut off after 5 and all weekend. Save yourself the headache and call someone else.

I am ready to take legal action against the company. They post no business hours and the telephone is always set to fax. I purchased a pre-paid service contract. It has been too hard to contact them. I do not have a fax at home. I want my money back. This is causing trouble with AHS, which is how I met Chris. What a disappointment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my wife and i had just brought our newborn home from the hospital in the middle of july, when we realized the a/c was out!! we were recommended to guaranteed services by one of our neighbors who had previously used the company and was very satisfied. we called and received a very convenient appt time and the technician arrived during that time frame. he fixed the a/c within the hour and was very polite. i would recommend this company to anyone who wants fast and reliable service! i do not normally post reviews but this company is great and deserves an incredible review.



I used this company once and I...

I used this company once and I would never use it again. They were slow, rude, and gave no appearance they had any clue as to what they were doing. If you are in a hurry to get things fixed, do NOT call these people.

It just doesn't get any better...

It just doesn't get any better! Our AC was out, we are having a heat wave, I called after hours, they answered immediately and the tech was onsite in less and 30 minutes, he corrected the problem and within 1 hour of my call the problem was resolved and AC is blowing cold. Really does it get any better? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!
