Overall
Horrible service and HIGH PRICES!

My husband and I went to NV Nails for a pedicure on Friday January 22 and the service was terrible. This was my husband's first time getting a pedicure for his feet and I'm afraid that because of the horrific service, its his last.

So what happened, you ask?

Let me tell you.

Our first clue to run and run fast were all the signs hand written all over the walls that said: "We prefer you pay in CASH" and yes, cash was all capitalized.

However we didn't run.

Like fools we followed Jenny back to the spa pedicure stations and took a seat. She roped us into the "Deluxe Spa Pedicure Package" which really wasn't anything that shouldn't come with a pedicure!! Did I mention that this was NOT my first pedicure?

The husband said yes to the "Deluxe" and I didn't even know what he was saying yes to her about. I never thought of it being more expensive because the treatment was what I had gotten every single time in the past!

Anyway, so that was the start of the madness.

As my husband is getting his pedicure Jenny and the other man who was there kept shouting across the salon in their language, which is very uncomfortable, but I ignored it. Then a very, VERY pregnant woman came in to get her eyebrows done.

No big deal, right?

Wrong.

When the woman walked out of the 'back room' her whole face was red and splotchy. She didn't have more than a pencil thin line of eyebrows and was crying. Literally crying!!

This was when I began to get uncomfortable. Normally places that do eyebrows have milk in their fridges so that if there is an issue of redness they can moisten a cotton line and place it on the face to combat the swelling and redness, the cool milk calming the angry skin better then anything. I guess this place didn't have it.

So the husbands pedicure was done and the young man was working on my feet. Fine, whatever as long as its a good job, right? Wrong.

Keep in mind I get pedicures at least once a month. I love to get pedicures and they make me all kinds of happy. This was just a new salon we used because the girl who does mine is out of town until March.

So he's sitting there working on my feet and I jump more than once, not because of it tickling but because he hurt me.

Finally!! It was over!

So we paid for our pedicures -- I was stunned to see my husband handing over 80 bucks! The pedicure's were 35 dollars each!! OUTRAGEOUS!!

We leave. My legs and feet are really tender but I figure its just because of the fact that I didn't have a pedicure in 2 months... boy was I wrong!!

We wake the next day and the husband has me feel his feet -- they are rough as sandpaper. It was obvious where Jenny got his feet and where she didn't, like very obvious!! And then I go to get up and wince. Around the edges of the balls of my feet the skin was damaged so much by the salon that it actually hurts to step!

I told the husband to go back to the salon and make them take more off his feet and when he did he was told that no, his feet were so bad he needed at least 3 times to get them where they would be soft... bull malarkey!! So why is it that part of his feet, the roughest parts previously, were fine? Oh yes, because you want more money -- well guess what?

I will NEVER - EVER - use this place again!!I will warn everyone that I know about them and their ways. Not only do they charge an arm and a leg but they are NO GOOD!! If you are going to charge a fortune, then baby you better be able to be good enough to back it up!!!
