I am the owner of Detour. The review by Brittany M is fake. She has never been to salon. She is a family member of a disgruntled former employee.

Very unprofessional staff and uncomfortable environment. I Would not recommend wasting your money at this salon
Extremely professional fun exciting heartwarming experience for all ages. Hair coloring, texturizing, perms, relaxers, braiding, and more. You can purchase clothing and get your makeup done. Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, tea ,cocoa, water, and /or lemonade while you are there. Perhaps doing shopping as well in the style store. Detour has what you need.
Amazing place, and fun atmosphere! Love the style store and I have loved my hair each time, definitely recommend!
My hair is always exactly as I asked and more! My kids also ALWAYS live their hair! I would trust any stylist in there with my hair.
I have been going to Clip Zone since I was 14 years old. I heard about detour through a friend and decided to try it out since they use same Redken color. The first time I had my hair done at Detour it looked great! I had my hair colored brown with the red tint (my usual) with a few new peek-a-boo darker pieces to blend my hair extensions I have that I wear on occasion . The second time I went, I told the same stylist to touch up and she accidentally colored my whole head the color she did my peek-a-boo pieces in. I have never in my life wanted BLACK hair ... when she tried to do a color correction, my hair was further ruined with a red band at the root of my hair and looked TERRIBLE! She attempted to color correct twice .. and then when I sent pics the second time she stopped responding. I attempted to reach the owner of the salon for a couple weeks without a call back. Once I finally reached the owner, she blamed the color correction screw up on my hormones, water (I use Anderson water same as I always have), and/or on my shampoo (I have used pureology for 10 years).. she blamed the color correction screw up on everything else other than the inexperience of the stylist who did my hair . Costed me almost $100 to have my hair ruined.. and returned to Clip Zone to have my hair fixed. It was a simple color correction and I am thankful to have my hair back to somewhat normal and not embarrassed to wear my hair down anymore ! Within writing this review .. I was not impressed with the lack of professionalism that was displayed by owner of this salon and WILL NOT RETURN!!!!!!!
Great first experience!Everything you would expect from a salon – coffee bar and water, boutique clothing and accessories, many salon services
Great service from the friendly and very knowledgeable staff. This place has the best prices n town that I know of.
First time going 2 weeks ago the 2nd to be exact just was researching best local places for trims since when my hair becomes long it gets annoying in the back and the front from the bangs, and my previous place stopped giving good haircuts since declining in business and staff from having done by the owner the last 3 years or so since discovering and was a tad nervous yet seemed at ease i discovered it once located by the mall and this time by choice went in and things could not have gone better nothing but 90s playing beautiful women at every turn and im an 80s and 90s enthusiast the staff and atmosphere great girls are really detailed and attentive to what they do which is the number 1 thing i look for was best haircut i've ever had and opened my eyes up to new ways of getting a trim while still keeping my hair on top where i want while short.
Reasonable prices, beautiful work, and friendly employees.
