The pills do help, however despite their claims, insurance does NOT cover it (at least not State of Alaska) and it is very expensive, you WILL be hungry and have carb cravings, though they lessen a little over time, and expect to lose about half what they tell you in the ads. There is a 3 week "maintenance" afterward, so it's not really 40 days, it's 61. So plan your life accordingly, because you'll pretty much need to prepare all your own meals. That said, it made me feel more energetic and I did lose weight. Though it may have been more the 500 calories/day for over a month than the little pills.
