I’m looking at these reviews laughing! I rented from them for years. I think I know where these reviews come from though. I had a property manager (of which I had many) tell me he would ‘take care of me’ if I would go online and give Nova a good review because of all the bad ones!!! I just can’t give a positive review. Repairs take a week at the minuim and that’s only if you keep calling. And then the quality of work is poor. These people are SLUMLORDS! I’ve had maintenance people I know that worked for them. He told me how they ‘milk’ the jobs and boost the cost to the owners. Nova Property Management is about Nova Property Management. Owners & Renters beware!!
Hello,I am writing you regarding my vehicle that was illegally towed around 8am on Friday morning july 14. I live at 7210 Huntsmen Circle Unit C. I have lived here for over two years and we rent from nova property management. My vehicle may "look" like junk but it's fully operational , insured and current tags and I drive it! It is a grey 91 Subaru Legacy. I awoke this morning (Saturday July 15th) and walked downstairs and realize my vehicle was missing. My first thought was that someone stole it because of all the recent thefts around town.I called anchorage police dispatch at 8:11am and they said it was not stolen. It was towed by Alaska towing and salvage and they gave me their number to call. I called Alaska towing and salvage at 8:14am and they stated they do not have the vehicle.I called APD back and verified the information and the dispatch lady Mary Jo called Alaska towing and salvage herself and was told they do have my vehicle....she relayed the info to me.So again I called Alaska towing and salvage back around 8:20am and they said they have the vehicle and it was requested to be towed by Leo with Hoffman and associates.I went thru every venue to get in contact with this Leo guy...I emailed. Left messages with his answering service and some other things as well. I realize it is the weekend but my vehicle had NO reason to be towed and now I have no way to get to work or take my children or husband to their appointments this weekend!It was parked in a sub compact parking space in front of the building adjacent to ours ---7232--- there are no assigned parking spaces outside and I have literally parked in the same spot for over 2 years!I am now having to personally pay 200$ from money I had to borrow from my grandparents to get my car out of the impound yard. I need to know how to proceed with all of this. I am wanting my $200 back or I want this Leo guy to call me immediately.
Just terrible, horrific and stomach turning. It seems all the dirt bags live here! Pictures to come.
This person needs to take a class on problem solving. Leo von is a ignorant individual who seems to like to create issues for folks that piss him off and is the most unproffesional person I have ever delt with in the property management industry Please use caution if stuck dealing with Leo von. He is not to be trusted.
showed us a house that looked like tenant just moved out lots of holes in the walls and doors. driveway was a mess and the back yard had rocks all over the yard so it would be hard to maintain. the older couple that showed me the house said no pets allowed but while looking around the house I saw cat or dog food under the heaters and all the listings sites I found the house on said pets were aloud under 35lbs on approval. outside of house was not well maintained, fence gates would not lock because parts were falling off. talking to neighbors after looking at house I learned the agents son owned the house and that it was empty for quit a while. I got the impression they were not telling me everything about the house and they were just looking to find someone to move it
DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!Horrible business ethics. Refuse to return phone calls, do not process payments in a timely manner, They have flat out LIED repeatedly to me, my realtor, the homeowners association, and I am now LOSING MONEY on my home that was scheduled to close because they let the AHFC approval lapse. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!
I am a resident of a neighborhood assoc since 1994 that is managed by Bonanza. I have 4 experiences with them...every one has been negative. I also found out that in each of the situations, other residents were and continue to be treated differently. The last experience was waiting 23 days for a paint color denial when other residents have been waiting a week with some residents not even asking before painting. When I expressed my concern to the manager and mentioned that I was considering going to bring the perception of disparate treatment to the attention to the city, the property manager no longer accepts my calls and will not respond acknowledging he has received my new request. 5 days and multiple requests as of today with not even an acknowledgement. I anticipate continued retribution from Bonanza. The effect on my situation is of no concern to Bonanza.If anyone knows who actually owns this company, please post their name and contact info. I would like to advise them of the unprofessional behavior. Beware...I would not trust this property manager to manage a garage sale much less a property.
Answered all questions to best of knowledge very impressed with how patient they are with me and tried to go above an beyond to make sure I was helped.
No stars should be added F - Warning - Do NOT rent or try buying from this company First they charged first last and a deposit legally they can't do that Over 3.5 years of living in a unit they managed they charged for 22 nail holes they are not legally allowed to do that its normal wear and tear They charged to change the front door lock an outrageous amount over 200.00 they have the lock and keys another charge that I shouldn't be charged for not to mention other redicious charges I'm sure the owners are not aware of Don't call a lawyer no need to if you have issues call the realestate commission I've seen other comments regarding this business doing the same to others - if they she Joellen tries this with you go file its a small cost 100.00 could save you hundreds She's Non professional to say the least I've had nothing but issues since day one Please avoid these rental units
Terrible experience with this company. We listed condo unit with them in February 2015 and it was rented for only three months for rest of year. They put a tenant in the unit with a history of eviction (something I learned with simple court records search which they apparently didn't bother to do). So, we ended up paying for a lawyer to represent us in eviction process. They were also responsible for utilities and allowed gas to turn off and then had the nerve to pass the reconnection fee on to us in their final bill! They were also very poor at initiating communication (but to be fair, when we contacted them they did usually reply fairly quickly). Would not recommend this company to anyone.
