For a gov't bureau getting the negative image of waste they are getting you would think customer interaction would be kept positive. I have had 2 visits to this station; one to inquire on post office boxes, one to rent a PO box. Both times the counter person (women) had unprofessional attitudes. When getting my PO box, she attested that she "told me I had to bring a piece of mail to prove I live there". Telling her I dont HAVE any since I dont GET mail there dumbfounded her, and finally got permission from a supervisor, then she told me "having a PO box is a privilege not an entitlement...". I suspected she may give me a bottom box to "show me who's boss". I was right, she did (though I could care less about that). Privatize the US Post Office. Save BILLIONS and BILLIONS of wasted dollars.- For last 2 years I had a spendy UPS Store box when the Northwood station "lost" medical shipments (in house) 3 TIMES that I got delivery slips for. When complaining, he said "sir what do you want me to do?" Pathetic
