I always have the best service with any AK USA weather it be in person or on the phone. I work at Wells fargo, and I have to say AK USA treats their customers better.



Discriminatory Practices

My cousin was calling the call center to get her car loan payoff amount and got stuck on a question so she handed me the phone. I was trying to translate for her but the call center supervisor said that she cannot speak to me for security reasons. I told her that we appreciated the security measures and all I was going to do was explain the question. The supervisor refused and said she would not be able to help us out. Frustrated I asked her how do they handle non-english speaking customers if they did not allow for translations. The call center supervisor then said, "sir, this is an english speaking country, so people are expected to speak and understand english if they are going to live here." So surprised by what she was saying I told her to please go on record and record what she just said to me. She said that all their calls are recorded. I told her that what she said was very discriminatory and racist and called her a not so nice name. So if Alaska USA questions my complaint, my suggestion to them is to review their "recorded phone call". I have a friend who is a branch manager so I know this is not how they operate or treat people, so my suggestion is that they should terminate the call center supervisor. In this economy thats very harsh to say, but being discriminatory towards someone due to thier limited english, I think is worse...from a humanity stand point. No wonder so many people around the world hate americans. Its ashame because this attitude doesnt reflect all of us and despite of this I am proud to be an American Citizen.
