I bought a sofa set & matching storage ottoman, one of their upper end products (according to them).I was told if there was anything I didn't like about the product I could return the item. I emphasized the fact I needed the storage, not just an ottoman. My family of soon to be 5 live in a 1000 square foot house.
The storage ottoman was not in stock. When it arrived, I was shocked to see the depth of the storage was >6in, hardly deep enough to hold 2 throw pillows.I was never warned about how shallow it would be,shown a store model,or warned that I could not return it.Why waste money on hinges and framing for so little storage!
When I called to return the storage ottoman I was told there are no returns on special orders, all of their storage ottomans are built like this, and they refused to let me return it.I'm not surprised they don't want to try and sell this in their store. This would make customers question the rest of their products. Especially those they claim are "high end".
Bought a mattress for a grandmother and she ended up just using her old one. So now I'm stuck with a $1000.00 mattress I don't need and they wont exchange for any other furniture in their store! I was under the impression I could exchange for something else, but I was misled. Never again will I ever go through Sadlers and I let everyone I can know how terrible their customer service is. You lost thousands on not an easy instore exchange for a mattress never opened!
I bought a mattress from them and ended up having to switch it out for another one because I hated it. Although they also own the ultimate mattress store, they will not allow you to choose a mattress from that store and they don't carry the same mattresses in both stores. Their concern is not to have a happy customer, their concern is to get your money any way they can . It is even in the contract when you buy a mattress that if you have to switch out to another one, which you can only do once, if you end up getting a mattress that cost less than the one you originally purchased, you still pay the original price. I'm sure it would not be the same case if your second choice was more expensive. Isn't that robbery? Don't bother calling the manager of the store either because if you're even lucky enough to get him on the phone, he could care less. I guess I should have read all the reviews that I found since I purchased my mattress, before I purchased my mattress and then I would have been shopping somewhere else.
I bought a Serta mattress that did not last - had it checked by their 'expert' and he kept saying it was normal...even though I feel like I'm sleeping on a slope every night. They don't back up their products!!! I am VERY disappointed with the product and their 'sorry Charlie' attitude. DO NOT buy a mattress from them!!!
WORST customer service i have ever had - I had my couches repaired twice within 18 months because of the poor quality - these were not cheap couches either - over 2k for the set - the last time they were repaired, they overstuffed the cushions so bad that they stretched the leather - The response I got from the owner about this.........nothing.......wont even return a phone call - the repair guy told us the leather is stretched and to bring it in so they can repair it AGAIN. You cant unstretch leather - they have ruined my couches and they wont replace them - DONT BUY FURNITURE FROM THIS COMPANY - ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY - they dont care about what happens after you leave the store
