Sadly, Pup Culture has changed owners. I pulled my dogs from doggie daycare because the new employees had very little training in dog / pack behavior, different breed behaviors and the daycare side was frequently understaffed or the dogs were left with no supervision at all.
Every one here does such a fantastic job of grooming my dogs everytime. I am certainly happy with the results. I have been coming to pup since they first opened and my dogs also love the day care. Sasha does great with all the dogs and always makes sure they come first
I hope nobody reading these negative reviews believes they are true, it is obviously a disgruntled ex employee, customer, etc. The review by a Mr. "Mikeunt" should be a dead give away & anyone that knows the shop , its employees & service would & should flag these as abuse as I will do, my dogs have been groomed & went to daycare many times over the years & they love it & always leave happy, I promise you that if you are considering this business you will see how absurd these ridiculous reviews are & will be more than impressed.
I only took my dog to daycare a few times & thought I was just being picky but after reading the other reviews It feels good to know i am not the only one who thought this place was unsanitary, I guess if enough people speak their concerns maybe something will get done or they will lose more customers.
Also funny that lazytea has such positive reviews, sure its not just cause you design & run the pupculture website :-/
Not worth your time or money, the salon is a mess with things that look like personal belongings in piles & hair obviously is not a cleaning priority, 3 out of 3 times I took my dog it was not what I would consider tidy or clean so I am not returning in fear my dog may get some type of infection, sorry to be so negative but I hope this helps someone choose any other salon in town & hopefully this will give them enough time to clean it up some
Amy has been grooming my dogs for years even before she opened Pup Culture. My dogs adore seeing her. Her shop is cheerful, professional, and busy. She always takes the time to ask me questions and make suggestions. Amy always sends my dogs home looking fabulous right down to their little bows, bandannas, and wagging tails. I highly recommend Amy at Pup Culture for your pet or show dogs.
I was very disappointed with my service at this grooming salon. The first clue that I should have run away was that when I opened the door to take my dog inside to her appointment, the stench of cigarette smoke poured out into the fresh air. This salon was recommended by my former groomer who had to close up shop. Unfortunately, the service was nowhere near his level of excellency. In fact, I never even was able to speak with the groomer, just the receptionist who showed me a profile blacka nd white sketch of a dog and asked me if it was the cut I wanted. Actually, the cut turned out terribly. I was never even asked when I returned to get my dog how I liked the cut, etc. I try to support local businesses, however, when the personalized service is nonexistent, my feet do the talking, so to speak. In the end, I was so dissatisfied with the cut that I decided to call around to friends and received a reccomendation for a new groomer, who happens to be the manager, at Petco in Mountain View. She looked at my dog, noticed that ear hair had never been trimmed inside the ears, that half of my dog's face was long and the other half was short and most egregiously, that her stomach had been cut in two places and was raw and I had not even been told that my dog had been injured in the grooming process so that I could watch for infection. I am so utterly disgusted with this grooming salon that I will never return and I advise anyone who's reading this to run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. Do not take your dog here to be groomed!!
