Since high school I've taken every car problem possible here.
My first car, VW #1: all my exhaust work, and alignment work .
Vw rabbit#2 front ball joints, alignment, two exhaust visits one included a catalytic and new exhaust from the manifold to the tail pipe.
Ford pu: door bushings, two exhaust visits, one included a new catalytic. New steering box, steering ball joints and labor, the bill for that one was around 2,500.
A separate visit: I had it towed there , wouldn't start, I trashed the starter trying, winter. New starter, tune-up including all the usual wires rotors, cap, plugs, etc ...
Mazda323. New rebuilt heads. Brakes, we brought it in this winter complaining about lack of heat, they checked various components, heater core, fluids, etc...new catalytic,
Get the picture? We've taken all of our stuff here for decades. Most awesome employee, Blaine, retired, used to man the front desk, he was great. Now there is a prick running the counter.
My wife's car was leaking coolant all Over the inside of the car, we took it in to have them look at it, I was suspecting a loose hose clamp, easy to fix. (I checked when I got home, it's the core, not a clamp)
We weren't looking for free work, just for them to look at it. We mentioned we had been in in the winter to check the core, and heating system. The guy immediately jumped on us for our receipt? We weren't looking for free work, just to have them look at it, and I am FULLY AWARE, that there is a charge for estimates.
They couldn't find records of our history as a family bringing in 100 % of our cars in.
They kept mentioning we needed to go home find our paperwork to get warranty work. WE WERENT LOOKING FOR WARRANTY WORK. Just to have them look at it.
The new counter guy threw out two decades of a good customer/business relationship by failing to listen.
I'll never return.
