I always enjoy my visit to Lone Star. The staff is friendly and the food is always great. The Bubba Burger is my favorite, and their brown bread loafs are delicious.

Provided by Citysearch -We just finished a group luncheon at the Anchorage Lone Star Restaurant with a group of 17 people. What a treat! The wait staff was excellent, very organized, friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Our food arrived in a timely manner, served exactly as everyone ordered including a couple of special requests, hot and delicious. Having been to a number of large group luncheons, I have to say the staff at the Anchorage Lone Star is the best I have seen.
The last time my girlfriend and I went in.... lousy waiter... tinier steak.... nothing was the way we remembered...it was our tradition to go there when she visits from Fairbanks...
I like everything about this
place except it is a bit dirty.

Provided by Citysearch -Jen and I tried this one just one time, but it was enjoyable. Its the only place to ever get her Prime Rib right, and the cooks were able to tailor a meal for a hungry diabetic father. Menu is ala carte, it can get expensive.
