This had been my go-to Thai place since I first tried it over 2 years ago. Over the last year or so though, they not only raised the prices, but the last time I was there, my entree size pad see eew was almost all noodles, with a bit of eggs and brocolli, and tiny pieces of chicken I can almost count on one hand. Unfortunately also, the noodles were rather soggy. I will be looking for another thai place, which is too bad because I live so close to this one!

My first visit to Alaska and I must admit, I didn't think there was any good food to be had. I was craving Thai food and my cousin whom I was visiting suggested we try this place that her friends from work were telling her about. We were skeptical, especially since my cousin and I travelled through southeast Asia last summer and spent 6 weeks in Thailand eating all the delicious food that country has to offer. We arrived to the restaurant starving and probably ordered way too much food, but to our surprise, finished every last bite. We were full, but the food was so good we couldn't stop eating. We started out with the fresh rolls and larb. They added a special touch to the fresh rolls with a little piece of crisp, tart apple. Larb, which is a ground chicken salad marinated in lime juice and chillies top with cilantro and thai basil was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I stopped by before leaving town and got an order of this before my flight home. Next we decided to try the coconut milk soup with chicken, again=DELICIOUS! The broth was rich and flavorful with tender morsels of chicken swimming around. For our main entree we ordered a red curry with beef and bamboo shoots and decided to try something different, Ko si mee, a crispy noodle dish with a thai chicken gravy smothered all over it. YUMM! Never had that before or ever seen it in any Thai restaurants I've ever eaten at. Sooo good and the curry was great too, we like it spicy and they delivered. I only wish I could take this place home with me. I will definitely be back to Anchorage to eat at Lahn Pad Thai, and of course to visit my cousin!

For my first time i have ever had Thai food it was delicious. The restaurant was small but the service was great. I found out that this is a family owned restaurant when i talked to one of the waiters.
I’d recommend the Pad Thai (L5). The food was neat, decorative, and there was a color balance.
My family and I went to Lahn Pad Thai the other night. We order a couple of appetizers (Fresh Rolls and Angel Wings) the appetizers came out really quick and tasted really really good especially the Fresh rolls. It was Pretty and different from others that I've tasted. I can taste everything inside it . (shrimp, chicken, lettuce, apple, cucumber, celery and more..) dipping it in the sweet chili peanut sauce was awesome. The stuff wings was so good and crispy. It was stuff with clear noodles, pork and veggetables . We then order some Pad Thai noodles , Kiew Warn Chicken (green curry), Krapoa Shrimp and Tom yum chicken. Our dinner came out pretty quick. The portions were big, Pad Thai tasted so good, not too dried like some other restaurants, the kiew warn was not too spicy and creamy came with green peas, bamboo shoots and fresh basil that was good too, krapoa shrimp was good and tasty with bamboo shoots, string beans and fresh basil , you can taste the fresh garlic and the Thai chili , the spices were perfect, they also use large shrimp not small ones. For the Tom yum, It was so good ...I can taste and the smell all the flavors, lemon grass, limes leaves the chilis. Over all my dinner at Lahn Pad Thai was awesome my family and I enjoy it very much., I can say that Lahn Pad Thai is my favorite place for Thai food.

Pad Thai is awesome! My boyfriend and I have been going in about once every week or so for the last three months and have never had a bad experience. The restaraunt is small, but the staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly. We try something new every time we go in and we have yet to find something we don't love. If you like Thai food then this is definitely the place to go!

For those of you looking for a friendly atmosphere with delicious food, head over to Lahn Pad Thai! Everything from there scrumptious fresh rolls and Thai tea to there most spicy noodles and soups...all is delicious! I have been to all the Thai restaurants in Anchorage and Wasilla, and this is by far the best! Friendly service and a knowledgable staff make the experience delightful. And if you like spicy, they definately have that down. My friend likes mild dishes and she got her's perfectly spice-less. Accomadating, friendly, and delicious...this is a MUST for all Thai food lovers alike!!
