Mr. Sternquist has a creepy vibe. He is condescending, and doesn't listen well. He assumes that everyone knows nothing about health, prior to seeing him...like everyone is or has been on the standard American diet and on pharmaceuticals...which I agree are bad, but if he'd read my intake, he'd have acknowledged I've been into alternative healing my whole entire life, and never been on meds...he's a real know it all.
He tried to sell me on his treatment plan by saying I was never going to get well unless through him, and as if no other modality or practitioner had the ability to help me besides his. He isn't up front about cost, & gets you into his clinic with a low cost initial consult...which is nice, but on the 2nd day of receiving your health report, which they said was part of the initial consult, they tell you only the first 15 minutes of reading your report, by yourself, are free, but there's a fee to continue the visit. Weird
Although I appreciate and am interested in kinesiology, I don't trust his abilities...on the evening I went to a free health talk, he gave a free couple minutes of kinesiology...(after I told him my health condition)...the kinesiology he did "found" two strains of Lyme (they weren't even scientific strains, just east, west, and midwestern Lyme), east and west.
When I went back to him for my real consultation, he told me (based on his kinesiology), that I had Midwestern Lyme. Um, so he completely said to opposite things...
Then you find out that he wants you to come to weekly visits, with no consideration of financial ability...he kept asking if I was on board and ready to get well (of course! That's why I was there), but in a condescending manner which was disgusting. I tried to negotiate the frequency of visits, but he was rude and acted like I wasn't cut out for his program. At that point I had enough and left. He seems like a greedy and arrogant man, and has a very creepy vibe, as I said. Would never go back!! Highly don't recommend!!
I have received such incredible service at the Alaska Health Improvement Center. Dr. Sternquist and his team really got to the root cause of my back pain and thyroid symptoms and fixed what was really wrong without any drugs. Not only that, they taught me the things that I needed to know (and that I was doing wrong) to take charge of my own health. I've lost 38 pounds and counting and have more energy now than 20 years ago. Wish I'd found you sooner.
Probably the best thing, is the low cost. At "another" center, I paid almost $500 for my exam (after what insurance covered) and hadn't been helped. I was told I needed another $3500 of special tests and then "we'd see." Alaska Health Improvement Center got me completely fixed up and on my way for less than all that. And that was probably the third or fourth specialist I've seen plus fancier "natural" offices here in Anchorage. So I've decided to send my whole family there and get us all making the lifestyle changes they taught me to make so we can all have the health and quality of life we deserve.
Sometimes people aren't willing to look at what they themselves are doing to their bodies and just want a quick fix (take a pill) to numb their symptoms. If this is you, don't go there.
I'm my body's caretaker and it deserves the best care ever. I'm sure glad that Dr. Greg and team had the right instruction manual for maintaining my body. Thanks everyone!
This greg sternquist guy is a money hungry joke and fool. He pretends to be nice at first to real you in but in reality he is a jerk who will belittle you and treat you like a fool. he dismisses any medical condition and thinks all doctors are idiots. The only idiot is him and someone willing to give him money
