My Alaskan roots run deep beginning with my grandparents who came to Alaska during WWII. I was born in Valdez and grew up in Anchorage graduating from West High School where I played soccer and hockey and met my fiancée, Sabrina. I graduated from West Virginia University and University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. I am a sports fanatic and still enjoy playing soccer and hockey. My other interests include snowboarding, running, traveling and spending time with family, friends and our dachshund puppy, Lola, at our cabin. I am honored to be a part of the Alaska Premier Dental Group and am particularly drawn to their commitment to service. In fact, it was on a medical mission trip with Global Health Outreach in the Dominican Republic that I made my decision to pursue dentistry. It was while on that trip that I became aware of the overwhelming need for dental care in rural communities worldwide and learned how dental health can impact a person's total health and well being.
