I was very satisfied as a patient. As a patient I received very good treatment. The Doctors I had were very professional.
Fantastic business, wonderful staff and providers. I would recommend Dr Nyboer and Dr Stemmle to anyone! Very knowledgable and outstanding bedside manner.
Dr. Eberle has been my eye care doctor for 2 years, she knows my optical insurance and what is covered. I had an exam late last year and she stated I would need cataract surgery. After the surgery she stated I needed to come to her for post surgery exams. I went twice and was charged $400 a piece for each 15 minute exam. She charged my medical insurance which she knew she was not a preferred provider for this so the claim was not paid because the non-preferred provider deductible is very high. Had she been fair with me she should have allowed me to have the post exams at the surgery provider's office and my medical insurance would have paid the charges. But she was not upfront and honest with me therefore I will no longer trust her. I suggest you watch her practices.
Unethical behavior. Be careful, she is not in any insurance network, but she and her staff will twist the truth and make it seem as though they are. She tries to market standard procedures covered by insurance at other eye-care providers as "cutting edge" and will attempt to bill you for them. She will also bill standard contact lens follow-ups as "medical" (she gets more $ and you pay a lot more). She is not able to diagnose basic eye problems (in my case mild allergies). Dr. Eberle and staff are unable to do basic business operations (schedule/cancel appointments, submit prescriptions to pharmacy/optician, send correct and timely bills, etc... Mistakes are fine every now and then, everyone makes them, but she and her staff make A LOT and, on top of it, lie about it. She is very reluctant to give you your glasses/contacts prescription and tries to twist your arm into purchasing through her at higher cost. Again definitely unethical behavior, probably borderline illegal.
Because I said sometimes my vision gets blurry when I drive they said it is a medical claim and not a vision claim and therefore charged me more money. The doctor said my vision gets blurry because my eyes get dry because the air from the car vents are blowing on me. I turned the direction of the vents, no more dry eye and no more blurry vision. Because they are greedy and wanted more money they submitted it to my insurance company as a medical claim this means I had to pay a 250.00 deductible and 20 percent after that. If it would have been submitted as a vision claim my insurance would have paid 100 percent. They will not change it because they said I have dry eye syndrome which makes it medical. How is it dry eye syndrome when it went away after turning the vents. I will never go here again and will tell everyone who asks about an eye doctor to stay away from these people
This man never seemed to really listen to what I was telling him about my painful eye condition. In fact, he left me with the distinct impression that he thought my concerns irrelevant. He finished with a cheerful assurance that everything was under control, despite the fact that he could not explain the cause of the recurring pain. The eye continued to deteriorate under his treatment and I ended up being treated in a hospital emergency room two days later. They got me in touch with a real opthalmologist's office, where the problem was quickly diagnosed and immediate and effective treatment and pain control measures provided--thank God. I am sorry to have to say that I would NOT recommend going to this man if there is any possibility that you have a serious eye problem.
