I still remember my old preschool teacher Mrs Darcy and the principal Mrs Janice. Made so many great memories that I still remember now that I’m 15. I even remember my preschool graduation and singing Yankee Doodle Dandy!! Miss this place
My child goes here and he is always called by name. The administrator knows everyone by name and they take childcare assistance. I haven't had a problem with them at all.
Unstructured, underequipped, uneducated staff, the owner is crass and unaccommodating, the food is garbage, and it is extremely expensive. Teachers let the children run amuck. My kid has come home many times with bruises and stories of getting pushed off the play equipment, etc. Teachers always deny seeing anything. Don't send your kids here.
Worst daycare the owner is money hundry... Also new staff every week. Rude staff..and seen rats while I visit also other insect
My son has attended this daycare since he was a year old. He still goes after school. He does not have to go after school and or when days schools are closed, but he asks to go so he can play with his friends and see the teachers. He enjoys going and doing all the fun things they do. Definitely recommend sending your child here.
Children’s World Bilingual Montessori has my heart. It balances the Montessori Method with a nurturing spirit. My daughter is happy and eager to see her friends, she learns Spanish and other amazing things, but more than that, she learn to be a wonderful person – grace, courtesy, kindness, love, friendship – those are important pieces of life to me.All the teachers and also the office staff are wonderful people who bring their own gifts. I trust them with my daughter because they love her and guide her in a truly meaningful way.I could not ask for a better Montessori environment. I am continually astounded by the level of reading, writing, math, and creativity I see the children at CWBM demonstrating. The fact that they have accomplished so much at such a young age while being so engaged and loving everything about what they are doing is remarkable.I looked at a large number of Montessori programs in Anchorage and I could not be happier with the choice I ended up making. From the moment we toured this school, it was clear that this is a truly special place.
My daughter went there for one day. When I picked her up she looked like some one had scrubbed her face in the dirt. When we got home I washed all the dirt off n under it her face was all scratched n bruised all over. Her eyes were so red n irritated from all the sand in them they continued to ooze till she finally went to bed that night. Not to mention she starved almost the whole day she was there and didn't have anything to drink either. They said she wouldn't eat the breakfast n lunch they gave her. So finally when I called again at 1pm I told them to give her the food I sent. Which she ate. It was only snack food. But she was starving. Because apparently if they don't eat what's givin to them their policy is to starve them. I also told them many times she did not drink cows milk. And I provided a water bottle for her. Which they didn't give her. They only gave her milk. Which she didn't drink. So in summary not only did she not get any fluids that day but starved and aparently got beat up by some other child. Nothing was reported to me except that she didn't want to eat their food. I'm livid. I will never bring her there again. I have picture documentation of the bruises n scratches and blood red eyes. If I don't get a refund I will be taking them to court!
My daughter has been attending Children's World since she was 2 yrs in the part time program. She just turned 5. We have always been impressed with the way the work with our daughter. The teachers are extremely loving with my daughter. It has really been a good experience for us! My only complaint has been with the billing side. If you choose to do extra hours like we do you either need to work out a set amount you pay with them or be very diligent about tracking as they are not very good about being able to prove extra charges in a business like manner. As far as the care our daughter receives it is by far one of the better programs out there and would recommend them to anyone! Our daughter was very shy when she started and is extremely outgoing and friendly with other children now! I give a lot of credit for this to the wonderful teachers at Children's World!
Children's World has been a wonderful experience for my daughter. She has been at the school since she was 18 months, she is now 6. At, Children's World, all of the staff are phenomenal, they offer a warm loving learning experience. Not all facilities suite all children and/or all parents. Do the research find what suites your family and your child. And, hopefully you find Children's World to be that place. I can't say enough great things about them.
