La Dame Special Events

AWESOME catering service... I had my wedding on August 18th, 2012 and Silvia was such a joy to work with and the food was amazing! She definitely put my mind at ease about a lot of details in the planning process (food wise) and was always available for questions or concerns. Her staff was also good to me and my guests and did a great job of setting up and serving good food!

We've had La Dame cater at least 40 events (including wedding and funeral receptions, birthday parties, baptism receptions etc.) at our church during the past three years. We are very pleased with their superb service, gracious attitude and good food. During our recent Thanksgiving Community Feast Tomas of La Dame Catering kindly donated the potatoes and gravy for 500 people. I highly recommend this excellent caterer.

La Dame Catering is absolutely wonderful! I have had nothing but absolutely great experiences when it comes to them. The servers are very friendly and excellent people. You can tell customer service is their number one priority. The food is delicious and they serve excellent portions. You will not be disappointed with La Dame Catering! They are number one on my list for when I host catered events :)

I have done many many events with La Dame Events over the years. The venues are always very clean and well decorated. The food is great and they always give you plenty! The owners are very easy to work with and are always helpful and they have been in business for many years and worked with 1000,s of clients and it shows. I would highly recommend them and have many times over the years.

I cousin had her Quince there two Weeks ago n the experience that I had there from the server was just unbelievable but not in a good way. Everything was going great until he started serving the food. Honestly really doesnt know that he has to deliver great customer service to all the guest not just the people who pay for the event. This old guy was taking too long to serve the food so I offer to help him in good Faith but ended up giving me attitude n told me not to bother him in a demeaning way. N then I notice that a lady ask if she could have a plate because he had missed her n told her that she was not getting more food because she had already eaten. she was in disbelief of what the server told her n went n told my uncle n as soon as he saw talking to my uncle, he took her a plate n told her that he had mistaken her with someone else:-) I noticed that many of the guest arguing with him throughout the night. im not sure who this guy was but I asked one of the girls working there what his name was n told me that his name was Arnulfo... I guess I would have been pissed with my parents if I would have been name Arnulfo!!! I would have fired that guy I were the owner. So please make sure to tell the manager of that place not to schedule that guy for ur event or u will have very unhappy guest.

I don't understand the negative reviews. I've done more than one even with La Dame. I've never been let down with the service,food or the owner. If you read your contract carefully it's stated that you will provide all alcohol and plastic plates for cake and the plastic forks. The food is served on china with utensils provided, Also water glasses. Plastic cups are included with things you bring for the bar. Enough for your guest all night. They are very clear on this at time of signing contract. They are very nice and have catered to me any time I've done an event and to my guest. I recommend this place to my friends and family and none of them have had a bad experience here! plus you pick whatever colors you'd like for event and it's beautiful every time. VERY CLEAN and NEAT!!! I will for sure be using this place for upcoming events as well!!!!!

This venue was terrible. I would seriously not recommend it to anyone. The lady, Silvia, with whom we signed the contract was very nice at first but unfortunately didn't deliver on her promises. The staff was friendly but unfortunately incompetent. They were terrible and slow at serving the food. They were taking forever until one of our guest, yes one of our guests, went and offered to help them. That's when they were able to get food on the table in 2 hours. If he hadn't offered I'm not sure that the other guests would've gotten fed. Embarrassing. We asked Silvia for more chairs, which at the time of signing the contract she said would be avail, and she was wanting 300 dollars for 50 chairs...completely unreasonable. I was very disappointed and made us all very, very angry....it ruined our night. Go elsewhere....on special events like this the last thing you want is for them not to deliver and embarrass you in front of your guests.

I would give this venue 0 stars if i could. The service, staff, manager and experience was all a nightmare. The owner, Thomas is very stubborn and difficult to work with. He makes promises and is very pleasant when you see him for the first time. However, once the contract is signed, his demeanor completely changes. He wants $$ for every little thing and is not willing to compromise.



Although it was his job to setup the venue, my family and friends ended up doing all the setup of utensils, nakins and appetizers. We even had to buy our own utensils for the appetizers. The venue doesn't have a bar but a portable bar that's a joke. The bartender sucked and didn't know how to make the most obvious drinks. We had to provide all the alcohol, cups and condiments. AWFUL ~~~~ AWFUL experience.



I was crying the day before my wedding bc all of a sudden he wanted more money. I was under so much stress with this guy. I tried my best to work with him which took a lot of effort. Everyone who met him said they would've left the minute he started disrespecting me but i thought i was getting a great deal. It seems like it on paper bc he makes you get a lot of stuff on ur own. He didn't even provide enough drinking glasses on the tables. For a table of 10 he only placed 5 glasses bc not everyone will drink. I didn't understand his way of thinking.



Again, don't let him trick you with the low quote, believe me, it will ADD UP QUICK with all the stuff you have to do on your own. If you already signed with him, GOOD LUCK and get everything in writing. When i reminded him of things he promised, he said "I never signed for it,". Total jerk!!! not sure how he's still in business. One thing for sure, customers don't return. My friend's parents had a similar experience with him but unfortunately they didn't' know i was usng the same venue until it was too late ( a week before the wedding).

PLEASE DONT RENT THIS PLACE FOR YOUR SPECIAL EVENTS!! I DID AND IT WAS THE WORST MISTAKE I MADE! WORST SERVICE EVER. PLUS ITS WAY MORE EXPENSIVE THE OTHER PLACES IN ANAHEIM!! I WAS SOO EMBARRASSED AT THE HORRIBLE SERVICES RUDE LOOKS AND NASTY ATTITUDE MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS GOT FROM THE "WAITERS" AND THE OWNER IS A REAL JOKE HE IS SO RUDE NOT ONLY TO ME AND TO MY FAMILY BUT TO THE BAND, THE CHEF, FLORIST, THE DJ, EVERYONE MENTIONED HOW RUDE THE OWNER AND SERVICE WAS!! THE SITE REQUIRES A STAR RATING BUT ONE STAR IS WAAAAY TOO MUCH FOR THIS HORRIBLE BANQUET
