Worst tailor I have ever used. Dropped off a suit and a second pair of pants on the 22nd. I had a job interview on the 30th, and scheduled to pick up suit after 5pm on the 29th. I arrived at 4:45 pm to see if it was ready, thinking surely 15 minutes was close enough he wouldn't be working on it still. I was told he was very busy, and asked if I needed it today, which I responded yes. He got upset with ME because I wanted it the day it was due, which was in 15 minutes. I was then told to look at my ticket because it said "after 5pm". Keep in mind this is all only 15 minutes from when it is supposed to be done. So I come back in 15 minutes, and I'm told it's done, and he's just pressing it. So I wait a half hour there, while he's running around the back (in my view, doing lots of things besides pressing my suit). So they lied about it being done, and he's just rushing my suit. At 5:30 the girl at the counter tells me that they cant finish it and that I can come back at "any time the next day". I sit there in disbelief and I don't even respond at all the lies I've been told to this point. I'm at least handed the suit finally at 5:40, and it's a wrinkled mess that was so poorly done (obviously not 'being pressed' like I was told). He hands me wrinkled suit mess, that isnt even covered in a plastic cover, even though he has a dispenser of plastic suit bags right there he obviously uses, and tells me he's going to start on my 2nd pair of pants. I tell him I want 2nd pair back without him doing anything to them. I didn't want my second pair of pants to be rushed just because he's closing, and he obviously doesn't care about doing a good job. He grabs my 2nd pair of pants from the back and throws them on the counter, and I take them and leave. I take them home and try them on, and the lengths on the pair of pants and jacket are still way too long, and he took the legs in way too much. He let my suit and pants sit in his business for a week, and then when I showed up an hour and 15 minutes before he closed, he did a quick unprofessional job just to get my clothes out of his business because he already had taken my money. I never post reviews, but I had to get the word out that he's terrible, and if you read this, don't waste your time, go to a professional.
This tailor is a genius. He took in a dress I wore to my daughter's wedding and it fit like a dream. Then, a few weeks ago, he literally rebuilt the jacket of a couture suit that was too big for me all over from weight loss. He's now re-working an after-five dressy pant suit for me and adding sleeves to the top which he is taking off the matching jacket that I chose not to use. And he is very patient during your consult to explain the pros and cons of whatever you may be asking him to do to your garment. He's a bit expensive, but if it is a piece of clothing that is really important to you, don't let anyone else touch it!
